Emmerdale Spoilers: Emma Barton’s Murder Finally RevealedOn Emmerdale we have seen Laurel Thomas (played by Charlotte Bellamy) struggle with Emma Barton’s (Gillian Kearney) lies for the past few months, ever since her husband Ashley (John Middleton) passed away. But, she is finally getting somewhere, after Emma made up a story to cover her crimes Laurel began to suspect that the women really was guilty of killing James.




Emmerdale spoilers indicate that Laurel is not being quiet about her suspicions either, she is going around the village and asking if anyone knows anything about Emma, who is not best pleased that Laurel is trying to stir up the past.

Emma was fully convinced that she had hidden her crimes successfully and Laurel’s interest will unravel Emma.

Even though Emma has been putting Laurel off with lies, she has not been able to stop her from finding out more information.

According to upcoming Emmerdale spoilers, we will see Laurel become somewhat of a detective this week as she starts questioning people about James, she will start with Finn (Joe Gill)  and then move on to Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw). She is trying to find out if there is any evidence of Emma and James being in a fight before his murder.

Even when Emma tries to spin more lies about James death, Laurel is firm in her belief that something dodgy went on. Finally, Laurel will call the police on Emma and this story line will be handed to the police. Emma will not be able to so easily lie to the authorities.

What will happen with the mysterious tape with Emma’s confession on it? James death was seen as an accident, with the case re-opened who else will be in the firing line? Emma is not likely to go down without a fight, but just what will she do when there are no more lies to tell?
