Emmerdale Spoilers: Adam Thomas Wants An Adam/Aaron Romance – Could It Work?

Now this would be an unforeseen change to the current “Emmerdale,” lineup: Adam and Aaron are a couple? Did I miss a crucial episode sometime during the last week?

Well, that’s the way it turns out if Adam Thomas, who portrays Adam Barton on the show, has his way! The Dales star has gone on record saying that he wouldn’t mind it if he and Adam’s best mate Aaron Dingle became a committed couple.

According to Lifestyle, Adam joked at a press conference that a gay storyline would be a welcome change for his character, who’s currently married to Victoria.

Unfortunately for Adam and his lovely wife, the two are having a rough ride after learning that they can’t conceive a child.

In response Adam has been acting out, such as kissing another woman, Vanessa. Well that will surely fix things, Adam! At the recent press conference Adam was asked about the infertility storyline. In response the jovial actor said the he’d like to see a gay storyline involving Adam and Aaron.

“He loves Aaron,” said the star. “He’s his best mate and he’d die for him … If Aaron’s in danger, or upset, he’s obviously going to be there for him. I just hope that they get together, to be honest with you!” How would Victoria feel about the bromance turning into a romance?

Adam further elaborated on the couple’s baby blues, saying, “Screw the baby, I want to be with Aaron! But no, he loves him so he’ll be there for him no matter what.” All things considered, Aaron’s love life isn’t going too well these days, either. When Aaron was incarcerated, Rebecca had a hookup with Robert. Ouch!
