EastEnders News: Danny-Boy Hatchard Slams Danny Dyer’s Storyline

EastEnders News: Danny-Boy Hatchard Slams Danny Dyer’s StorylineFormer Eastenders Danny-Boy Hatchard is saying what a lot of fans of the soap series are thinking. He’s not impressed with Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) and his affair with his daughter-in-law, Whitney Carter.

Danny-Boy was on the show for three years but left back in 2017 after Lee suffered from severe depression, caused by his financial stress. Yet the actor now says that he doesn’t like the direction that Mick and Linda’s storyline is going to. Linda was recently left devastated after Mick admitted that he cheated on her.

According to Britain’s Daily Star, Danny-Boy said, “The whole idea that they wanted to go with Mick and Linda was that they would never cheat, and it was a really nice thought. I am going to be biased because I love the family as a whole and they are a big part of who I am, but I think it’s a shame that this happened. I think it could have worked if they kept it the way it was and it’s a shame that they felt the need to take their story in that direction, but it’s the way that the soap world is.”

So far Danny Dyer himself has not made any comments about Danny-Boy’s criticism, although there’s a very slim chance that he will. After all, Danny is dealing with his own personal life crisis right now. Earlier this summer reports indicated that the actor cheated on his wife, Jo Mas, with his former co-star Sarah Harding. Danny is currently trying to save his marriage with Jo before it becomes too late.
