‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Late Joseph Mascolo’s Final DOOL Air Dates As Stefano Revealed

'Days Of Our Lives' Spoilers: Late Joseph Mascolo's Final DOOL Air Dates As Stefano RevealedStefano is alive!  “Days of Lives” spoilers tease that history will be made February 9, when the late, great Joseph Mascolo is seen for the final time as Stefano DiMera. Don’t miss your chance to catch one of daytime’s ultimate villains in action one last time!

Joseph Mascolo joined the soap in 1982 and delighted fans as an old-school, mustache-twirling baddie. He kidnapped, killed, maimed, and yet remained a fan favorite week after week. His old world manners and European accent added to his charm, and his love for family redeemed him in the eyes of many a fan.

Mascolo died in December 2016 at the age of 87 after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Just prior to that, DOOL viewers were lead to believe that Stefano was murdered by deranged cop Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso).

But in the last few weeks, the storyline pivoted and fans learned that the master arch villain was alive and well in Prague, showing wanna-be gangstas how arms dealing is really done.

In order to bring The Phoenix to justice, and spring Hope from her prison nightmare, a score of Salemites flew over the pond and hatched a plan to trap him.

Will Stefano finally be apprehended at a grand masquerade ball? Spoilers reveal that Stefano is indeed captured during the party pandemonium!

DOOL fans will be thrilled to see their favorite villain back in Salem, where he’s thrown into a jail cell, presumably to rot.

But alas, The Phoenix proves (once again) that’s he smarter than the entire town put together and soon vanishes into thin air!

This classic soapy ending is a much more fitting finale for someone of Mascolo’s stature. Fans were upset when he was unceremoniously, and graphically, pumped full of lead and left to die alone.

Now we can enjoy pondering the fate of the still-alive baddie, imagining him getting up to all kinds of trouble in countries across the globe, with hot young arm candy dangling from his Armani-suited limbs.

During his long and illustrious career, Mascolo also appeared on, “General Hospital,” and, “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
