Weekly Soap Opera Ratings For Sept 12-16: GH And DOOL Ratings Plunge, Y&R And B&B ReboundThe soap opera ratings for the week of September 12 through September 16 have been posted by Soap Opera Network. ‘General Hospital’ ratings took a dive across the board and ‘Days of Our Lives’ took a bit hit in the ratings with total viewers. ‘The Young and the Restless’ and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful,’ ratings rebounded with both total viewers and in the women 18-49 demographic.

Days of Our Lives

‘DOOL’ ratings September 12-16 were down significantly for both total viewers and women 18-49. The daytime drama had 2,157,000 watching – a loss of 92,000 total viewers over the previous week. ‘Days of Our Lives’ fared better with women 18-49. A total of 396,000 viewers came from this demographic. This represents a gain of 14,000 in this category.

General Hospital

Soap Opera Network reports that ‘GH’ total viewership plummeted for the week of September 12 through September 16 with 2,535,000 turning in. This is a huge ratings loss for ‘General Hospital’ – down 85, 0000 total viewer numbers from the previous week. The daytime drama didn’t do well with women 18-49 either. With 420,000 tuned in, that’s a loss of 12,000 viewers in this demographic.

The Bold and the Beautiful

After taking a beating in the ratings the week of September 5-9, ‘B&B’ bounced back with 3,734,000 total views the week of September 12-16 – that is an increase of 35,000 viewers. Soap Opera Network reports that ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ won back viewers in the women 18-49 demographic with 521,000 turning in. That represents a gain of 64,000 viewers in this category.

The Young and the Restless

‘Y&R’ ratings for September 12 through September 16 showed a significant increase after losing total viewers in near record numbers the previous week. With 4,751,000 watching, ‘The Young and the Restless’ gained 127,000 total viewers. The daytime drama welcomed back viewers in the women 18-49 demographic with 633,000 watching. That represents a gain of 82,000 viewers in this category.
