‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers Monday January 18: Victor Arranges to Trade Marisa for Adam – Chelsea Fears the Worst – Nick Suspicious of Dr. Anderson

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, January 18, tease that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) won’t appreciate Dylan’s (Steve Burton) suspicions. When Dylan questions the state of her relationship with Adam (Justin Hartley), Chelsea insists that they’re in a great place. Dylan seems to doubt her claims, but Chelsea remains adamant that something’s wrong. She thinks the Santoris are involved in Adam’s disappearance.

At Newman Enterprises, Paul (Doug Davidson) tells Victor (Eric Braeden) that Chelsea reported Adam missing. Victor claims Adam is away on business. Paul asks why Victor has people searching for Adam if that’s the case. Paul asks a few questions about the Santori family and Noah (Robert Adamson) walks in. They talk about how Billy (Jason Thompson) survived after all. Once Paul leaves, Victor calms Noah’s fears about Paul’s investigation and says he needs a favor.

At Top of the Tower, Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) dismisses Marisa’s (Sofia Pernas) accusations. Luca states that he isn’t plotting with his father and he had nothing to do with Adam’s disappearance. Marisa listens as Luca talks about his confrontation with Victor. Luca hints that this is not how his father rolls.

Noah shows up and says Victor needs to see Luca. Once they’re alone, Marisa and Noah talk about covering up the accident. Marisa vows to protect Noah. They discuss fond memories and two men arrive to take Marisa. In his office, Victor tells Luca that he’s arranged an exchange. He says he got a ransom note from Luca’s father and he intends on trading Marisa for Adam. Luca is outraged and says he won’t let him do it.

Victor indicates that this isn’t negotiable and it’s already taken care of. Luca heads back to Top of the Tower and finds out that two men came for Marisa. Luca tells Noah about the trade and Noah tries to defend Victor. Luca flies into a rage and urges Noah to stay out of this.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon (Sharon Case) makes a comment about Mariah’s (Camryn Grimes) large amount of takeout food. Mariah acts guarded. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan) pop in. Sage takes Sully and steps away. Mariah notices that Nick seems concerned. Talk turns to Dr. Anderson (Elizabeth Bogush) and Mariah indicates that she’s suspicious. She points out that they need to be careful about Dr. Anderson.

Once Mariah is gone, Sharon chats with Nick. She says Dr. Anderson thinks she doesn’t need to rely on her medication anymore. Nick is worried, but Sharon insists that Dr. Anderson knows best. Nick suggests that Sharon shouldn’t have so much faith in Dr. Anderson. She’s a little too involved. Sharon backs up Dr. Anderson and Nick alludes to her concerns about Sage holding Sully.

Sharon and Nick realize that Dr. Anderson has been telling them different versions of what’s best for Sage. Sharon still doesn’t think Nick’s suspicions are warranted. Sage continues playing with Sully and Sharon walks over. The discuss the instant bond between a mother and her child.

Meanwhile, Chelsea finds Nick and asks for his help. She says Adam is missing and she wants him to talk to Victor. Moments later, Chelsea gives Sage the news that Adam is gone. Chelsea fears Adam may never come back.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will wonder if Natalie (Mara McCaffray) has been honest with him. In a suite, Kevin mentions the defective program and the investors that are after Natalie. He smells a con. Natalie shuts down the idea and suggests that Kevin’s the one who’s been filling her head with all these big dreams.

Natalie opens a bottle of wine and Mariah shows up. When Kevin gets called to the police station, Mariah starts quizzing Natalie about how she met him. Natalie sings Kevin’s praises and asks about his involvement with Mariah. Mariah talks about their bad night of passion. Natalie admits that she likes the idea of being with someone like Kevin, but she’s not it would really work out.

At the station, Kevin gets up to speed on Adam’s disappearance. Dylan says they need him to access Victor’s personal communications. Kevin can’t believe they want him to hack Victor. Kevin eventually calls Mariah and tells her to put Natalie on the phone.

As Kevin is asking for Natalie’s help, he gets a call on the other line. It’s Victor and he needs Kevin immediately. Kevin goes to Victor’s office and gets updates on the ransom note. Nick walks in just in time to hear the part about “the girl.” He wants details.

Dylan comes home to Sharon. They share a kiss and Dylan announces that he’s a detective now. Sharon shouts, “No!” It seems Sharon is concerned for her husband’s safety. Sharon’s fears could get the best of her now that Dr. Anderson is downplaying the importance of her meds. Y&R rumors hint that more trouble could be on the way.
