‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: When Will She See Him Again? Michelle Remains A Threat To Victoria

The Three Degrees classic song ‘When Will I See You Again’ didn’t serve as backdrop music recently on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But Michelle (Kelly Frye) is wondering when she’ll be seeing Travis (Michael Roark) again and that’s a looming problem. Despite his marriage proposal to Vickie (Amelia Heinle), the upcoming nuptials ‘Tricky’ has planned are far from certain.

Michelle won’t have to wait forever. No, she’ll likely be seen soon. Someone who left her husband and flew from New York to Wisconsin is serious about the man she wants and won’t accept Travis’ brushoff, as facilitated by Ashley (Eileen Davidson) no less, as the end of opportunity.

Are they in love, or just friends? Well, Michelle has something that Vickie lacks. Travis risked (and then lost his career) to be with Michelle in the recent past. He does care about Victoria and is obviously attracted to her. Vickie is great, but she was also Travis’ second choice and viewers shouldn’t overlook that point.

Was their recent passionate interaction at the Genoa City Athletic Club another beginning, or was it the end? Travis claims that it was just a mistake. He told his now-fiance nothing about that incident and clearly rebounded from it directly into his bended-knee proposal in Chancellor Park. Travis is acting like a man that wants to lock Vickie into marriage so he can avoid giving into his deeper feelings where Michelle is concerned.

Yes, their hearts might be together by the time the New Year arrives. But which duo does ‘their’ refer to? Vickie and Michelle are both sensational. Unlike The Three Degrees, they’re not a trio. However, these soap characters surely would make a fantastic duo if they were paired as singers and this was the 1970’s. Since it’s not, selected lyrics from a timeless old school tune have been rightly honored and weaved through this digital groove.

If this were a game of modified musical chairs, there would be only one seat left. So will Travis choose to sit aside of Michelle or Victoria when the referenced song stops playing? And, will one or both ladies allow him to make that choice if he makes the wrong move in the meantime?
