“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, December 22, tease that Devon (Bryton James) will beg Hilary (Mishael Morgan) to return to GC Buzz. At home, Hilary instructs Devon to call her agent. He thinks they can work this out themselves. After Devon grovels, Hilary warns that she wants control of the show. Devon agrees as long as they don’t use manipulative editing. They share a kiss.
At the athletic club, Lily (Christel Khalil) finds Jack (Peter Bergman) speaking with Barry. When Jack steps away, Barry recalls meeting Lily during her modeling days. She brings up Hilary and Barry admits that he wasn’t fielding offers. Hilary just wanted Devon to believe it so he would plead for her return.
Jack runs into Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and they remain civil. He remembers being at the cabin with Phyllis last Christmas, but she wants to focus on the future. Phyllis mentions that she wants to leave Jabot. Jack is impressed that Phyllis is truly walking away. She feels it’s what’s best for both of them.

Jack and Phyllis spot some mistletoe above them. Phyllis simply wishes Jack a merry Christmas before dashing off to Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael’s (Christian LeBlanc) place. Meanwhile, Gloria (Judith Chapman) announces that she’ll stay as long as Michael and Lauren will have her. They can’t think of an excuse to send Gloria to a hotel, so they agree that she’s welcome.
Gloria gripes to Michael about Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) relationship. Michael feels like Kevin is in charge of his own love life. Lauren chats with Chloe about handling Gloria’s criticism. Michael bonds with Kevin over their careers and landing on the right side of the law.
Phyllis shows up and speaks with Lauren about some new business plans. She’s hoping she can have a full-time job at Fenmore’s. Lauren thinks it’s a great idea. Nearby, Kevin urges Gloria to get on board with his commitment to Chloe and Bella. Chloe snaps that Kevin is wasting his time. Gloria softens slightly when Bella brings her a candy cane. Michael proposes a toast for the holiday.
Back at Devon and Hilary’s place, Neil (Kristoff St. John) stops by for their Christmas celebration. Jill (Jess Walton), Cane (Daniel Goddard), Lily and the twins all arrive as well. Lily manages to sneak in a moment alone with Devon. She gives him updates on her chat with Barry and the fact that Hilary lied about her offers.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Billy (Jason Thompson) will spread some Christmas cheer. At the Abbott mansion, Billy surprises Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Traci (Beth Maitland). He suggests that he didn’t want to miss out on seeing them because of Jack. Traci wants Billy to stay for a while. She insists that he needs to spend time with his sisters on Christmas Eve.
Billy caves in and they open their presents. They’re recalling warm holiday memories when Jack walks in. He doesn’t want Billy there, but Ashley and Traci think Billy should stay for dinner. Billy knows he isn’t welcome, so he grabs the present he brought for Jack and departs.
Traci and Ash are annoyed with Jack’s behavior, but he doesn’t pay attention to their complaints. They sit down for dinner and Jack assures them of his love. Traci says a prayer before they eat. At the club, Billy sulks at the bar. It looks like his Christmas is turning out to be a little blue.
The good news is that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will save the day soon. Y&R rumors hint that Billy will have a happy holiday after all. We’ll keep you posted as other details emerge. Stick with the CBS soap to see how things pan out.

Lily is a broken record. Doesn’t she know she needs to back off and let Devon figure it out for himself. Take care of her own family.
Poor Billy – so sick of him. He needs another accident – maybe a year off. He did the unthinkable and everyone is supposed to just “forgive & forget”? Yes, I don’t like Jack’s new mean streak but understand it.
Faith – yes do not like where that storyline is going. Just send her off to Boarding School not Victor’s. She is not going to turn out well.
I’m no fan of Hilary, but Lily has gotten on my LAST nerve being so freaking nosey!! YTH doesn’t she worry about her own damn household instead of WTH Hilary is up to? UGH!!!
Don’t Traci and Ashley know that the more they keep pushing Jack to forgive Billy, the more he’s gonna resist? YTH don’t they just back the hell up off him and let him work through the anger and pain? I think Jack SHOULD forgive Billy, but it needs to be on HIS timetable, not theirs.
