‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers: Social Climbing Hilary Could Put Jack and Jabot In Jeopardy

Deep devotees of ‘The Young and the Restless’ might acknowledge that they know people like Hilary (Mishael Morgan) in the real world. A social climber whose eyes intentionally roam toward power players. Hilary is also undeniably smart and physically attractive, which creates incessant potential for her to wreak havoc. All factors appear to put Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and possibly, Jabot, at risk in the near future.

Morgan is commended for consistently projecting her talent through many complex storylines since she first joined the cast of ‘The Young and the Restless’ in 2013. As with all soap regulars, Hilary’s background check results are too detailed to fit within this digital space. In short, she initially sought revenge against poor Neil (Kristoff St. John) due to her mother’s death, eventually married him, but later accepted a ring from an equally good guy, who is also his son, Devon (Bryton James).

Business wise, Hilary is a quick study. She serendipitously finds opportunity to advance her own cause in Genoa City. Most recently, Devon helped her to find a place within Neil and Jack’s new non-profit foundation. And that’s why the man (Jack, not Neil, this time) she’s kissed on more than a one occasion stands as her latest target on ‘The Young and the Restless’

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is simultaneously running in a separate arc, toward Billy (Jason Thompson). Hilary shrewdly detected that opening in recent months and intentionally placed herself in Jack’s way. So, if ‘Philly’ ends ‘Phack’s’ reign, Hilary will be in prime position to pounce on Jack’s vulnerability, unless ‘Hack’ forms first.

Viewers know that Neil and Devon have been pushed off-course numerous times by ‘Hurricane Hilary’. Jack would certainly have his personal life derailed if that stormy femme fatal becomes his next mate. And, when distracted, Hilary would seem prone to cast her gaze upon Jabot, with resulting business interests clearly put in jeopardy.
