‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday March 21 Spoilers: Billy and Phyllis Get Cozy – Max Clings to Ashley, Abby Stews – Hilary’s Fierce Business Game

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, March 21, tease that a gala will take place to honor Jack (Peter Bergman) and Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) new foundation. In Billy’s (Jason Thompson) suite, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) shows up with a suit and insists that Billy needs to attend the big event. Billy starts getting dressed and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) arrives as he’s pulling up his pants. She snaps that she didn’t know Phyllis was in a meeting.

Phyllis explains what’s going on and Victoria stomps off. Billy won’t go after her. He thinks he needs to move on. Phyllis hints that Billy needs to find a place to live and he replies that he already has one. Later, Billy takes Phyllis to the Chancellor Estate. He says Jill (Jess Walton) signed it over to him, so he’s the proud owner of a new home. Billy just has to keep a room for Jill and Colin (Tristan Rogers) whenever they come around.

Billy and Phyllis try to leave for the gala, but a storm knocks over a tree and blocks the car in the driveway. The power is out and they don’t have cell service. Billy grabs a bottle of wine and sits with Phyllis by the fire. Uh-oh. Y&R rumors hint that trouble could be brewing.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Abby (Melissa Ordway) will be annoyed by Max’s (Jared Breeze) behavior. At Jabot, Abby tells Stitch (Sean Carrigan) that Max wasn’t interested in attending the gala until he found out Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was going. Dr. Neville (Michael E. Knight) joins the group and they head over to Top of the Tower.

Max seems clingy toward Ashley and it continues to drive Abby up the wall. Ashley thinks Max is just seeking a little attention, but Abby complains that he doesn’t want any from her. She really seems to be struggling as a new stepmom. The lights flicker and Max scampers right to Ashley for a comforting hug.

At the hospital, Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) gets his eye checked out after being punched by Noah (Robert Adamson). Noah and Marisa (Sofia Pernas) appear. Luca brings up the idea of pressing charges, but Summer (Hunter King) begs him not to. Luca agrees for Summer’s sake, but says he won’t sign the divorce papers yet. He wants to make sure Noah will treat Marisa right.

Luca tells Noah and Marisa that he’ll see them at the gala. Marisa wonders how Luca got an invitation. Summer pipes up that Luca is her guest. Meanwhile, Jack talks to Neil about the foundation. Neil thinks they should start forming a board. Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) walk over. Hilary tells Jack that she’d like to have a leadership role at the foundation.

Jack gets distracted by a phone call and Hilary is miffed. She turns to Neil instead and he says he knows what she’s after. Jack finds Ashley and asks her if she’d be willing to accept a seat on the board. Hilary overhears the news and gets riled. She orders Devon to do something. Hilary decides she won’t let Ashley steal the limelight. Devon is surprised by Hilary’s attitude.

Ashley agrees to be on the board and Neil welcomes her to the foundation. As Jack and Neil make a speech, Hilary interrupts with an announcement. She says she’s donating $1 million to the cause and puts Ashley on the spot to make a donation, too. Ashley decides to play Hilary’s game and matches the contribution. Afterwards, Hilary gloats to Devon. She thinks she might end up running the whole foundation.

Victoria spots Luca talking to an important executive and wonders what’s up. Luca warns that Victoria needs to step up or she could be given her walking papers like her father. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) shows up and Luca walks off. Victoria informs Michael that she needs to speak with Victor (Eric Braeden) ASAP.

Once Victoria is gone, Luca hears Michael imply that he’s going to throw Victor’s case. Will Luca spill the beans or let Victor go down in flames? Time will tell, but Luca might win some points with Summer if he offers a warning. Stick with the CBS soap for updates on Luca’s next move.
