‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Pressures Delusional Chloe To Turn Over Diary Pages – Will She Cave In To The Mustache?

'The Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Victor Pressures Delusional Chloe To Turn Over Diary Pages - Will She Cave In To The Mustache?Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) is being framed on murder charges on the CBS soap ‘The Young And The Restless.’ He believed that the blackmailer, who’s also his father, was in the process of having his name cleared. The evidence that would prove Adam’s innocence hasn’t materialized on ‘The Young and the Restless’. So, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) felt forced to advise his client to cop a plea with Genoa City’s District Attorney.

Victor did offer an honest, though still shady, deal to Adam that promised Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) missing diary pages would soon be available. However, ‘The Mustache’ didn’t know that an accomplice was implementing her own agenda within this scheme. Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) subsequently told Victor (Eric Braeden) that she’s holding the pages in question and isn’t turning them over. Despite their agreement, she wants Adam to rot in prison.

Chloe is a little cuckoo, as Victor noted. But, hopefully she’s able to regain control over her impulse-buyer behavior. If she doesn’t, Victor promised to take her daughter, Bella (Cali May Kinder), away from her. The great man also revealed during the same episode of ‘The Young and the Restless’ that he funded Bella’s care while Chloe was receiving mental health treatment.

Because Adam’s guilt in Delia’s death was never fully confirmed, it remains understandable that Chloe, Billy (Jason Thompson) and others still feel betrayed by the legal system. Viewers recall that Adam was initially sentenced to a long-term prison sentence for apparently killing Delia (Sophie Pollono). But, he was later freed after Victor orchestrated his release. That backstory serves as the link to Victor’s misguided belief that he’s helping Chloe.

Michael is a good lawyer. So, without a legitimate defense strategy available, and Kevin’s (Greg Rikaart) efforts not having yielded useful information to-date, he smartly advised Adam to talk with Christine (Lauralee Bell) about a plea bargain. Adam’s court date is rapidly approaching on ‘The Young and the Restless’. So, unless Chloe relents to Victor’s threat and turns over the true pages of Sage’s diary, Adam could soon be convicted and assigned to a cell at Walworth State Prison.
