‘The Young and the Restless’ spoilers reveal that Nikki Newman [Melody Thomas Scott] has finally given up on Victor Newman [Eric Braeden]. After 36 years of on-again-off-again-on-again romance and marriage Nikki is ready to call it quits forever unless Victor can drop his vendetta against their children.
The finalization of the Newman divorce is quickly approaching but Nikki is willing to give Victor one more chance to save their marriage. However, Victor must make some major changes, one of which being his love needs to be unconditional. Has anyone known Victor to ever give love without conditions? It’s always been Victor’s way or the highway, there is no in-between.

Nikki is still hopeful that it’s not too late to end all the craziness. Victor, however, sees things from a completely different perspective. Victor is still feeling the sting of betrayal from a family who testified against him, putting him in prison.
This is a battle of wills between Victor and Nikki, but who will win or will both parties come out losers? Nikki would happily withdraw her divorce petition if Victor would only show some sign, any sign at all, that he is ready to make amends and save what little relationship he has left with Victoria [Amelie Heinle].
But It seems as if the divorce will go through and the Newman marriage will be legally dissolved quickly. When Nikki reveals to Victor that it will be only two weeks before everything is final, Victor shows absolutely no signs of emotion or regret. At this point Nikki realizes there will be no reconciliation this time.
Nikki accuses Victor of being a cold-blooded man who is filled with hate. In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest available on newsstands now Melody Thomas Scott reveals, “It became clear almost immediately that Eric [Braeden] had decided to improvise a bit during the scene. That’s always fun and definitely gets the adrenaline going!”
Get ready ‘Y&R’ viewers, this showdown between Nikki and Victor sounds as if it’s going to be one for ‘The Young and the Restless’ history books!

It would be a good story if for some reason the divorce didn’t go through but yet Victor n Nikki thought they were divorced. Because we don’t need another marriage out of these two. I also don’t like that Nikki n Paul are getting together, I didn’t like when they were together when she became pregnant with Dylan. I don’t like Christian, because she always gone. But I think Meridith will be a very jealous person to the point of obsessive n Victor want tolerate that. I like Ian Ward n Meridith together so they could work together to keep Victor n Nikki apart. Just my opinions.
How many times have they divorced now?? LOL
