‘The Young and the Restless’ is certainly full of drama these days. Alliances are being formed all around Genoa City in efforts to take down the great and powerful Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). The question is – if Victor is taken down, which one of the alliances formed will be successful in his dethroning?
Team Nikki and Adam:
On a recent episode Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) offered to form an alliance with Adam (Justin Hartley). After having a meeting with Judge Moxley (Jensen Buchanan) Nikki was on the outside of a hotel room where she overhead Jack (Peter Bergman) telling Neil (Kristoff St. John) about how Victor had inserted Marco Annacelli in their lives and into his wife’s bed without her knowing. Nikki believes that this information will give her the insight she needs to get one over on her husband.
Team Noah and Luca:
Noah (Robert Adamson) and Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) made agreements to work against Victor. Luca learned that Adam and Victor had teamed up against him, conning him to bringing documents to bring down his father and the rest of the Santori family. But, Luca managed to maneuver himself out of the situation by blackmailing Adam with the truth of what Noah had done. After this Noah and Luca met and had a great discussion which resulted in them teaming up to take Victor down.
Team Phyllis and Billy:
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) continue to work secretly to bring down Victor. We know they are working with Natalie (Mara Macaffray) to regain control of what was originally supposed to be run by Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Billy. Despite his current engagement to Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Billy is still determined to get what belongs to him. So will Team Billy and Phyllis be the one to dethrone victor?
Team Luca and Adam:
When Adam was about to be sent to prison for hitting Delia Abbott with his car, Victor stepped in. Victor blackmailed Judge Moxley so that Adam’s sentence could be removed. During this time Victor found out that Adam was little Christian’s father and used this to blackmail his own son. Adam seems to be getting frustrated by his father’s constant reminder of this secret, what will Adam do now? Will Adam get so frustrated, that he works with Luca against his father for real this time?

Phyllis deserves it out of all of them, she’s been done the worst! Of course I’m all for Nikki & Adam but Phyllis deserves her justice.
I think it’ll hit him harder if family takes him down! ? the very ones he vows to protect. That’s not going to be pretty site. I do hope Phyllis gets some justice too!
Yeah the thing is, Nikki needs to think of the full ramifications if she does this, I understand why & think she’s doing the right thing but she needs to resolve herself to the fact that if she does this with Adam’s help that when it’s all said & done, she needs to leave Victor for good cause how can she stay with him after that when she knows she’s responsible for it if she succeeds & how angry he’s going to be when it’s all said & done, you know?
Yes, that’s very true. I agree. Maybe TGVN is on his way out. ?
I’ve seen that alot in the shows where they are either edging the people over 60 out or they give them really stupid storylines like Caroline on Days, OMG really!
Yes! ! You know I just had a thought, maybe that’s why they’re getting adam n Nikki to team up, bcuz they’re going to replace Adam in Victor ‘ s role instead of casting someone new. The fans are already use to seeing Adam maybe it’ll go over better with a family member. Who can really replace TGVN? ?
I mean hopefully he’ll just get a well deserved vacation. I don’t think any of them deserve to be kicked off their respective roles & shows, but most people I can see being in the background but not Victor, I just can’t see that but I do believe his character deserves to be punished for what he did to Jack & Phyllis. I could see Adam taking over but the things is, they would have to be sure that he’d stick around, this generation here don’t really do that it seems. People don’t just stick around 20-30-40 years.
