‘The Young and the Restless’ News: Jessica Collins Married – Daytime Emmy Winner Weds Michael Cooney

‘The Young and the Restless’ Jessica Collins [Avery Bailey Clark] got married on May 4. The Daytime Emmy winner and Michael Cooney surprised everyone when Jessica made the announcement on Instagram.

The newly married Jessica posted a photo of Michael’s hand atop her hand showing off the couple’s beautiful wedding bands. Michael’s appears to be a simple gold band while Jessica’s is a gold band encircled with diamonds.

Congratulations are flowing in as the story is just breaking! Jessica wrote, “Just when I thought the week couldn’t get any better… #Mr&Mrs #Hitched #JustMarried #PerfectDay.” Michael’s daughter Cooney wrote, “#Congrats so happy to be your step daughter.”

Jessica and Michael welcomed their daughter Jemma on January 23, 2016 and that was a surprise to fans who didn’t even know Jessica was pregnant.

Did the actress give any indication to former ‘Y&R’ co-stars Steve Burton [Dylan McAvoy] or Christian Le Blanc [Michael Baldwin] that she and Michael were getting married? Jessica, Steve and Christian posted a few photos on Emmy night May 1, but not one pic would indicate Jessica was planning a secret wedding.

Congratulations to Jessica Collins and Michael Cooney! It’s been a big year for the couple and we wish them all the happiness in the world. ‘Y&R’ fans can’t wait to see more wedding pictures!
