‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Casting Call Goes Out For Two New Characters – Wedding Planner And Adoption Counselor

‘The Young And The Restless’ spoilers tease that the CBS soap opera has sent out casting calls for two new characters – both women.  It doesn’t sound like either of the parts will be on the the canvas for lengthy amounts of time, however it’s their actual careers that have everyone scratching their heads.

This week’s edition of Soap Opera Digest teases that ‘The Young And The Restless‘ has sent out a casting call for a wedding planner named Evelyn.  The casting call teased that Evelyn should be a “strong actress” and described her character as “attractive, pulled together, and business like.”  ‘Y&R’ fans just witnessed Stitch and Abby’s over-the-top wedding, but there hasn’t been any talk about any one else walking down the aisle any time soon.  Who in Genoa City can be hiring a wedding planner?  Perhaps Hilary decides that she and Devon should have another wedding and renew their vows now that she is finally getting her memory back?

The second casting call is for a new ‘The Young And The Restless‘ character names Ms. Sartin – an adoption agency counselor.  ‘Y&R‘ spoilers tease that Sartin will be in her 30’s to mid 40’s, and the call doesn’t offer any other specific details.  Generally an adoption counselor meets with someone who is interested in putting their baby up for adoption – but no one is pregnant as of right now in Genoa City.  Although, rumors have indicated that Hilary might wind up with a bun in the oven after her hook-up with Neil, we can’t really see her giving up her baby though.  Maybe the counselor has something to do with the complicated Sully/Christian baby swap?
