‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers Season 7: Norman Reedus Spotted Shooting in Atlanta – Not Negan Kill?

'The Walking Dead' Spoilers Season 7: Norman Reedus Spotted Shooting in Atlanta – Not Negan Kill? The Walking Dead’ spoilers for Season 7 are breaking out on almost a daily basis as shooting began in early May and a recent pic posted on Twitter should offer comfort for all of those TWD fans thinking, “If Daryl dies, we riot!” Spoilers indicate Daryl [Norman Reedus] lives!

One of the great things about The Walking Dead filming out and about in Georgia rather than in a locked-down Hollywood studio is that spoiler photos leak constantly. In fact, there’s an extensive network of fans that routinely stalk common filming locations.

A recent post publicized by Spoil the Dead and Walking Dead France show new filming scenes with extras milling around but what clearly seems to be Daryl on his motorcycle with his crossbow on his back. There’s no other character with this iconic profile, so Daryl seems like a lock.

'The Walking Dead' Spoilers Season 7: Norman Reedus Spotted Shooting in Atlanta – Not Negan Kill?If he’s filming later episodes, that means he was not the “NV” as social media has begun to casually refer to Negan’s victim. But did anyone think the show was going to kill off such a critical character, particularly at a juncture where it wouldn’t have made any sense?

The working theory is that it’s likely Glenn [Steven Yeun] or Abraham [Michael Cudlitz] that bought the bat death. However, other spoilers leaking from “The Walking Dead” shooting indicate the baseball bat death may be one of the more humane things we see from Negan [Jeffrey Dean Morgan] in Season 7.

What’s of interest is that storyline spoilers also tease that Negan and The Saviors see the Alexandria group as bad guys that are stone cold killers. Each group sees the other through the same lens so it’s simply a matter of perspective.

You have to admit that the ASZ (Alexandria Safe Zone) crew has a high body count accrued. They tend to wipe out whole groups (the Governor, et al) while Negan more efficiently kills one to scare the opposing forces into surrendering. It’s kind of a “greater good” scare tactic.

Clearly, though, TWD fans will not embrace The Savior perspective that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his gang are the bad guys. But the good news is, it seems like Daryl is sticking around for Season 7, but that means another beloved member of the core group is dead.

Who do you think died at the end of Negan’s bat? If TV Negan is like comic book Negan, women and kids are off limits. He also won’t kill Rick because he’s the leader and needs him to run the group and work for him later. That leaves us with a relatively small list of potential victims.

That’s really nice. I don’t want Daryl to be killed off, he’s one of the best characters in the show! I sure would like to know who got the killing blow though.
