'The Bold And The Beautiful' News: Shelley Curtis Joins 'B&B' Directing Team“The Bold and the Beautiful” has added a new member to the directing team. Shelley Curtis, former “Days of Our Lives” and “General Hospital” producer and director has come on board at the CBS daytime drama.

The Daytime Emmy winner is “so excited to be come back to daytime and elated to join ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ team” Shelley revealed exclusively to Soap Opera Network.

Shelley – who now is known as Shelley Litvack – will be part of the directing team that includes Michael Stitch, Cynthia J. Popp, Jennifer Howard, David Shaughnessy, Deveney Kelly and Heather Tom [Katie Spencer]. Curtis’s debut directing episode of “B&B” is scheduled to air on Wednesday, April 13.

Past directing and producing credits include time at the CBS soap opera “Guiding Light,” NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” as well as the ABC daytime dramas “All My Children,” “Loving,” “One Life to Live,” “General Hospital” and “Port Charles.”

It’s been a while since Shelley has directed daytime dramas. During her time away from soap operas Curtis executive produced “Monarch Cove,” a telenovela for Lifetime. It is great to have Curtis back to daytime television and we hope she stays at “B&B” for a long time.
