‘General Hospital’ RUMOR: Liz Lies About Franco’s Knife and Implicates Herself?

Is, “General Hospital,” about to copy a page from competing soap, “Days of Our Lives,” and give viewers a storyline about incarcerated killer ladies? It is if a wild new rumor is to be believed!

Right now the hottest whodunit to hit Port Charles since the Hospital Killer storyline centers on convicted rapist Tom Baker (Don Harvey). When the dastardly dude returned to town after his recent parole no one threw him a welcome home party.

And for good reason. The ex-con has a history of preying on women, including Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) who he attacked when she was a teenager.

Although no one is crying about Tom’s early demise, someone must pay for his murder. And wouldn’t you know it, suspect number one is the criminal world’s OG, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth).

But according to the latest rumor, Franco’s girlfriend Elizabeth is about to pay for his crime! Franco and Elizabeth (both painters in their own right) know that the murder weapon is an artist’s knife. When the PCPD brought Franco in for questioning, Elizabeth tried to save his bacon by alerting his lawyer dad, Scotty Baldwin (Wil Shriner).

=”text-align: justify;”>Apparently, she’s going to save him again when she lies to the cops about the knife being his. The good news is that Franco won’t be arrested for murder. The bad news is that the cloud of suspicion will rain down hail on saintly Nurse Elizabeth.

That’s right, Elizabeth will be thrown in the clink! (Maybe she can bunk with Hope Brady?) According to the rumor, the knife is Franco’s but Elizabeth used it during a painting sesh at his house so her prints are all over it. Uh-oh. Does Elizabeth has what it takes to survive in prison?
