‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Ruthless Deimos Takes Over – No One Is Safe!

Is there a new danger lurking on the edge of Horton Square on Days of Our Lives? Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) has been appointed the new Greek in charge of the Kiriakis family affairs, and Salem should be alarmed!

This week patriarch Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) gathered his flock for an important face-to-face meeting. All of the major players were in the room: Deimos, Brady (Eric Martsolf), Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier), Sonny (Freddie Smith) and his father Justin (Wally Kurth).

If power has a scent, it surely was wafting throughout that room! The men waited for Victor to make his announcement. First, he talked about the importance of family. Then Victor, in his inimitable fashion, dropped the mic and announced his retirement.

DOOL viewers knew this moment was coming, but it was still bittersweet. John Aniston has done an admirable job portraying the elder statesman of the show. But, all good things must come to an end, and it’s clear that the time has come for the veteran actor to spend less time on the show.

Which means that Victor needs a successor! Who better to take control of the reins than his closest blood relative, his brother Deimos?

Apparently all of their past strife, like Victor having Deimos unfairly jailed for years, is now water under the bridge. Or is it?

Maybe Victor is employing the old adage, “keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” At any rate, Deimos is now free to run Titan Industries as he sees fit.

What will be the first item on his agenda? Deimos is ruthless. Will he use his power to strike out at business targets or go after more personal goals?

It’s no secret that several family members resent Deimos and don’t agree with his appointment. Are these relatives in danger? Victor himself said that Deimos is immoral thus the perfect man to run the family business!

Or will Deimos concentrate on tracking down Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) and his presumed baby, and if so, what madness does he have in store for them?
