‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Kayla’s In Crisis – Battling Deadly Disease During Steve Break-up, Joey Runs Away!

‘DOOL’ spoilers tease that Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) world is crashing all at once on ‘Days of Our Lives.’ Kayla not so long ago received news that she is suffering from a subdural hematoma. She’s got bleeding on the surface of her brain, and somewhat similar her brother Bo (Peter Reckell) died from a brain tumor. The doctors think her sickness is not something the physician should take very lightly.

Kayla is currently with a broken heart as she just ended her engagement to Steve (Stephen Nichols). She clearly loves this man but is quite fed up with what comes with being in a relationship with him. With the recent news of her illness Kayla is going to need someone to lean on. And quite frankly it doesn’t seem possible to lean on Steve, who is gearing up to move out of the house.

Kayla’s next option would be to lean on her son Joey (James Lastovic), the only child she presently has in Salem. But Joey has troubles of his own. Joey just made plans to run away to Los Angeles with his new girlfriend Jade (Paige Searcy) after he vented about his frustration with his family issues to her. So the question now is, who will Kayla turn to?

Kayla has a great doctor working on her case. Fynn (Alexander Bruszt) is excellent at what he does; will he be able to help her through this time? Spoilers indicate that he will advise her to take things easy but this could become an issue when she realizes what is taking place with her son. With her current condition, her son’s plan to run away, and her relationship with Steve ending badly, Kayla is in a major crisis.
