‘Days Of Our Lives’ Poll: Should Hope Stick With Rafe Or Reunite With Aiden On ‘DOOL?’ VOTE!

“Days of Our Lives” viewers know that Hope (Kristian Alfonso) has gone through a lot of shakeups in her love life over the last few months. Hope was over the moon about marrying Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove), but her wedded bliss didn’t last long. Aiden tried to kill Hope right after they tied the knot, but Bo (Peter Reckell) returned to save the day.

Bo died of a brain tumor a short time later. Hope had to deal with the blow of losing two men she had misjudged. Aiden seemed to be a coldhearted murderer and Bo wasn’t the abandoner she thought he was. Luckily, Rafe (Galen Gering) stepped up to help Hope in her time of need. Their friendship turned to love and here we are.

Of course, DOOL spoilers indicate that there’s much more to the story of Hope and Aiden’s wedding night. We’re about to find out that an impostor was behind the murder attempt. Hope will be stunned by Aiden’s return and she’ll have to decide if she’s willing to buy what he’s selling.

“Days” spoilers say Aiden will insist that he loves Hope with all of his heart. He’ll swear that he would never hurt her. If Hope can accept Aiden’s explanation, she’ll have a tough choice to make. Is there still room for Aiden in Hope’s life? Things are obviously quite complicated.

Hope has fallen for Rafe and there’s no denying that their feelings for each other are strong. Nevertheless, Hope loved Aiden once as well. She was ready to start a life with Aiden before the DiMeras spoiled everything.

Still, we have to remember that Hope saw a face that looked just like Aiden’s coming at her with a necktie. Just the sight of Aiden might scare Hope now. Plus, there’s the fallout of what Chase (Jonathon McClendon) did to Ciara (Vivian Jovanni). Aiden’s son raped Hope’s daughter, so it’s not like they can all be a happy family.

On the other hand, Chase is a young adult and Aiden shouldn’t be blamed for what took place in his absence. Chase may not be in the picture for much longer anyway. With a little time and patience, Hope could learn to love Aiden again. However, that would mean taking more risks when Hope’s been trying so hard to secure stability. Rafe is arguably the safer option.
