‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Jen Lilley Makes Surprising Baby Announcement – ‘DOOL’ Actress And husband Expanding Family

Lucky Jen Lilley (Teresa Donovan Black, Days of Our Lives) has just shared the happiest of news: she’s about to become a foster parent! She and her husband Jason Wayne received their foster parent license this week, and they’re all set to welcome a baby into their home this Saturday.
Sounding a bit overwhelmed, Lilley tweeted, “Holy moly! We got our #Foster parent license today and we’re picking up a baby Saturday! Moms, help! What cribs, carseats, etc. do you like?”
Lilley’s fans quickly came to her rescue and enthusiastically shared lots of suggestions about all of the good stuff that babies need!

Despite the suddenness of her impending “mom-ness” Lilley sounds eager and over the moon at the prospect of getting ready to care for a little one. “Ok. Portable cribs. Which ones are easiest to dissemble…thoughts?”
The speed at which the process played out also led to some funny moments between Lilley and her friends. Chrishell Stause (ex Bethany, The Young and the Restless), tweeted, “Wait-huh? Did I miss something here…???” to which Lilley replied, “HA! Yes! Not the world’s fastest pregnancy. But I got my foster license tonight & I’m pickin’ up a 4 month old little man on Saturday.”

Lilley has a huge heart, and she’s made a wonderful decision to share her love and home with a baby who needs a safe and loving space. She also knows that fostering comes with challenges: “My heart will probably break a lot as a foster parent, but I didn’t get into it for myself.”
Lilley’s about to begin a wonderful journey of love and personal growth, and, even though we already know that she’ll be a first-rate foster mom, we wish her all the best!
