Soap opera casting news reports reveal ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ is looking for new ‘B&B’ characters. There is currently very little information, but Soap Opera Spy has some details!
The first role ‘Bold and Beautiful’ is looking to fill will be for a “young leading lady.” The best part – it’s a contract role. This likely means the new character will be a permanent fixture on ‘B&B’ with story arcs, juicy plots, and the usual scandalous twists and turns. In addition to being a younger gal, preferably 22 to 27-years old, the ‘Bold and Beautiful cast hopeful must be “worldly, sophisticated, confident and artistic” according to Soap Opera Digest.
What kind of dynamic will this new young leading lady bring to the ‘B&B’ cast? It sounds like she could be a protagonist or a great villain. What do you think? This addition to the soap opera cast should be very interesting!
The second role is for a 2-episode stint. The ‘Bold and Beautiful’ is looking for a man to play Ed De La Rosa. Love the name! Ed is described as a confident and polished attorney. The male looking to be cast for this ‘B&B’ role should be in his 30s. Sounds like another great addition that will definitely provide a lucky actor with great launching point for future roles.

The female character needs to be a new character. Everyone has already slept with everyone currently on the canvas and I’m not interested in seeing another romantic triangle with the same character played by a new actress. No recast of Hope!
