Weekly Soap Ratings November 30 - December 4: 'General Hospital' And 'B&B' Strong, 'DOOL' And 'Y&R' DownThe soap opera ratings for the week of November 30-December 4 indicate that “General Hospital” and “B&B” took home the win for the week, reported Soap Opera Network. “Days of Our Lives” had a rough week; many feel killing off Bo Brady [Peter Reckell] affected their ratings in a negative way.

Young and the Restless

“Y&R” lost 75,000 viewers this week; however, gained over 150,000 since last year. In the key demo, the CBS soap opera lost about 30,000 viewers this week. The total viewers averaged over four million viewers, proving once again that the fans are loyal and continue to watch the soap even when they don’t agree with the direction of the show.

B&B

This is a refreshing change— “B&B” had a spectacular week. In overall viewers, the show gained 72,000 this week, and over 93,000 since last year. In the key demo for the week, “B&B” gained 43,000 watchers this week. The show averaged three million total day- to -day viewers.

Days of Our Lives

“DAYS” definitely hit a rating’s wall this week—and fans are pretty upset with the choice to kill off Bo Brady. It shows in their ratings losing almost 400,000 viewers this week. In the key demos, the NBC soap opera lost nearly 90,000 viewers. In the day-to-day ratings, “DOOL” averaged two and half million viewers.

General Hospital

GH” has had rough several months in the rating department. The past few weeks have shown small improvements. This week, “GH” won big in the key demos gaining over 30,000 viewers. Each day, the soap opera had nearly three million people tune in each day. Even though the total viewers showed loss of 6,000 viewers for the week, the key demo showed grown in the fan base.
