‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers: Terrell Tilford Returns As Dr. Shelby – Delivers Bad News

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers are in; Terrell Tilford tweeted on October 2nd that Dr. Shelby will be giving bad news to someone in Genoa City next month. It looks like he could be treating a Gala explosion victim(s), according to his revealing tweet.

Dr. Shelby is a surgeon at Genoa City Memorial Hospital. He has an ability to save his patients when all hope has been lost. He saved Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) after Austin (Matthew Atkinson) shot him in 2013, leading up to his liver transplant. The casting news stated Dr. Shelby will be appearing on November 6and the speculation is he will treat one of the Newman Gala explosion victim(s). His appearance cannot be related to Hilary (Mishael Morgan); her first airdate is Nov. 12.

November sweeps are just weeks away. Recently, a preview for sweep month revealed that the Newman Gala will suffer causalities in a catastrophic explosion. According to the rumor, a contract main character will be leaving the show during sweep month. It was speculated the character may even die in a terrible accident. The storyline leak stated that three other characters- maybe not main characters would die as well in a terrifying explosion. One thing for sure, fans know that Chuck Pratt will write an action-packed sweep month. In his first sweeps month (Feb. 2015), there was a plane crash and a building collapsed. Fans are wondering (worried), what type of action and causalities he could have planned for the daytime drama this time.

I do not like the story line Chuck Pratt is writing, as nothing gets resolved, This is ridiculous that Neil has held Hillary hostage for nearly a month already and she is still comatose. Sharon is pregnant, then she miscarries, then she is ?pregnant again, and she has Dylan who is suppose to be an intelligent man, totally convinced that she has been pregnant for months now, but is still not showing! There are so many topics that are not being addressed and these writers just keep adding new, story lines that are stupid. Could we have some of the issues that have never been resolved for months/years cleared up and then move on to he new stuff. Also they are obviously not makiting the actors in this show comfortable because there are too many of the original cast members leaving, and that tells me that they are not being treated right.
Instead of trying to pull a fan base in with “new drama” could you try keeping the Y&R as it has been for years – interesting to watch, with the original cast, and try to keep the older fans like myself and many others, that have watched this soap since it started, please..
