‘The Young and The Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday December 9: Ashley Offers Victor Money, He Declares War – Kevin Developed Hack-Proof Software, Billy Frightens Him – Noah Calls Feds On Luca

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, December 9, tease that hidden agendas will surface and new plans are about to emerge. At the penthouse, Adam (Justin Hartley) tries to convince Jack (Peter Bergman) to let Billy (Burgess Jenkins) take the fall. It’s the only way to keep Jabot safe from Victor (Eric Braeden). Jack doesn’t like the idea. He’s furious with Billy, but he won’t let Victor come after his brother.

Adam tells Jack that he’s putting a lot on the line to help him. If Victor knew, Adam would be in deep trouble. Jack needs to sacrifice Billy or they’ll all be destroyed. As he exits, Jack announces that he’s going to protect his father’s legacy. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) asks Adam if he really hates Billy so much that he’s willing to pit Jack against him. Adam insists it’s nothing personal.

Chelsea mentions that she was close to Billy at one time. It was a lot like Adam’s relationship with Sage (Kelly Sullivan). Chelsea wonders how Adam would feel if Sage was being treated this way. Victor is the real bad guy here and Chelsea wants Adam to walk away. Adam thinks this will give Billy a chance to get his family back. Chelsea understands where he’s coming from and gives Adam a kiss.

Meanwhile, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) tells Billy how loyal Jack is. Billy knows that. Jack’s qualities have been held up in front of Billy for a long time. Billy says Jack thinks he can coexist peacefully with Victor, but the truth is he can’t. There’s no reason they shouldn’t continue their revenge against Victor. Phyllis tells Billy that there’s only one way to survive this.

Elsewhere, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) gripes about Marco (Peter Bergman) and suggests that Victor needs to be behind bars. Victor brings up the fact that Stitch (Sean Carrigan) wouldn’t be pleased if he knew Jack caused Kelly’s (Cady McClain) death. Plus, Jack blew up the cargo ship. There’s plenty of blood on Jack’s hands, so they might as well talk business.

Ashley wants to settle this so Billy won’t get hurt. When Ashley offers $25 million, Victor laughs. Ashley increases it to $50 million, but Victor says she’ll have to add a zero before they can talk. Ashley finds Billy and Jack. They get updates on Victor’s demand for $500 million. Billy says they can’t afford it, but Ashley argues that they’ll lose more if they go to court.
When Billy offers to quit and take responsibility, Jack tells him no. It seems Jack thinks they can solve this without a trial or settlement. Billy insists that fighting Victor is the only way to beat him. Jack still wants to reason with Victor, but Billy is disgusted by the idea. Ashley pipes up that maybe Billy is the problem.

Jack goes to see Victor about a possible compromise. Victor turns Jack down. They argue about the Marco debacle. Jack says he’d be happy to tell a judge what happened, but Victor threatens to expose the truth about Kelly and the cargo ship. Jack replies that he’ll let it all come out in the open if it means protecting his family. Victor thinks Jack is bluffing, but Jack declares that negotiations are over. The war is on!

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will give Noah (Robert Adamson) some big news. It looks like Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva) has been lying to Marisa (Sofia Pernas). Ava is enrolled in a super exclusive school where celebrities go. She’s certainly not living under the terrible conditions that Luca described.

In Spain, Marisa talks to Ava until her foster mother arrives to take her away. When Marisa asks Luca what happens next, he says it’s up to her. Noah calls Marisa and tells her what Kevin learned. Marisa hangs up and confronts Luca about his deception. Luca admits that he pays Ava’s tuition and provides for her. Ava’s family isn’t wealthy, but they give her a loving home.

Luca just wanted the chance to come together with Marisa in their search. If Marisa wants to be with Ava, Luca can make that happen. Later, Ava’s foster mother shows up and begs them to think of Ava. Marisa says all she wants is Ava’s happiness. Now that Marisa knows Ava isn’t in an abusive situation, she can’t take her from the only mother she’s ever known. Ava’s foster mom hugs her and Marisa tells her to take care of her daughter. Luca is proud of Marisa for doing what’s best for Ava.

Back in Genoa City, Noah asks Kevin to dig up dirt on the Santori family. They’re involved in a lot of illegal activities and Noah needs the info sent to his phone. Noah tracks down Victor and rips into him for getting tangled up with the Santoris. Victor wants Noah to leave all of this alone, but Noah thinks this was just an effort to ruin his relationship. Once he’s alone, Noah makes a phone call about a federal crime. He says there’s an arms dealer doing business in Wisconsin and he knows some agents will be able to find him.

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) presses Kevin for information on the “yodel girl” he met. As Billy listens nearby, Kevin tells her that they came up with a way to make computers completely private. They can be hack-proof. Mariah declares that it’s revolutionary and leaves.

Billy walks over and tells Kevin the plan blew up in his face. Kevin fears that Victor will find out he was involved if they go to court. Billy wonders if there’s something Kevin can do about that. Y&R rumors hint that Kevin’s tricks could help the Abbotts in the current battle. Stick with the CBS soap to see if they can outsmart Victor.
