‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers August 5: Phyllis Knocks Out Marco-He Escapes, Victor Threatens Marisa, Marco Has An Accomplice in GC

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday August 5, 2015 reveal that Marco is indeed back but Phyllis is not fooled. Meanwhile, we also learn that Marco is not alone in Genoa City he is working with someone else. Victor’s search for Marco continues with no success. Kevin and Mariah inform Detective Harding that Victor knows more than he should and there might be a leak in the GCPD.
The Wednesday August 5, 2015 episode of “Y&R” opens with thunder in the park Mariah (Camryn Grimes) thinks it is very creepy and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) says the blackout is still not fixed but the good news is the rain stopped. Mariah is freaked because she thinks someone is following them that looks like a drug lord.
Summer (Hunter King) shows up and Mariah gives her Hell for walking in the park alone but Summer tells them someone is behind her and it is not a cop.
Jack (Peter Bergman) tells Victor (Eric Braeden) his concern for him is touching but too bad he did not have concern when he was chained to the bed with a deranged women. Jack does not get why Marco (Peter Bergman) would come back to Genoa City when Jack was back. Victor tells Jack Marco is the danger.
Back at Jack’s house Marco is there and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) tells him she is going to clean up the mess from the photo she smashed. Phyllis tries the password they created and Marco does not come up with the word. Phyllis covers and Marco tells her they can use candles and occupy themselves wink wink and Phyllis says, “You stay the HELL away from me Marco!” Marco looks shocked.
Noah (Robert Adamson) and Marisa (Sophia Pernas) are still in bed and Marisa asks him why he did not bring food with him when he came. Marisa says, “No power, no room service. What can we do.” Noah says he is never leaving the room again he is staying with her.
Cane (Daniel Goddard) is happy Devon (Bryton James) got Lily (Cristel Khalil) and the kids home. Cane is staying at The Athletic Club and holding down the fort. The elevator starts ringing – Cane says guests are trapped.
In the elevator are Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Neil (Kristoff St.John) they are stuck and Hilary is freaking. Neil says the Universe is playing a cruel joke on them.
Victor tells Jack off he thinks Victor enjoys taunting him about Marco. Jack does not buy Marco would try to slip back into his life. Jack tells Victor Phyllis knows about Marco. Victor is shocked and tells him he should never have brought Phyllis in if Marco finds out Phyllis knows she could become a target.
Over with Marco and Phyllis Marco is pretending that Phyllis is role playing. Marco tells Phyllis, “They connected on a different level.” Phyllis tells Marco off and Marco keeps telling her that she enjoyed her time with him. Phyllis calls him a drug dealer and Marco tells her his life is so much more. Phyllis tells Marco, “You are a punk who did Victor’s bidding.” Marco says, “You are upset because you enjoyed it so much.” Phyllis knees Marco, Hits Marco and hits him over the head with a brandy carafe.
In the elevator with Neil and Hilary she keeps trying to call someone. Neil tells Hilary she should get use to this she has been stuck in the elevator before. Hilary lets the cat out of the bag that her and Devon were not stuck in the elevator when it happened before. Neil keeps going on at her and Hilary asks him why he wants to rehash things. Hilary is upset she has no signal. Finally the phone rings and Neil picks it up. Cane tells him there is a power failure and it is citywide. Neil tells Cane he is with Hilary and they are going to stay calm. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) overhears and tells Cane they have to get Neil and Hilary OUT!
Marisa and Noah are still in bed and Marisa says she has never been so happy. Noah says he should not be happy because of Courtney (Kelly Gross). Noah tells her he is going to the kitchen to find them food, he is on it. Noah tells her not to move. Marisa smiles happily.
Summer (Hunter King) tells Kevin not to stare at her bodyguard. Mariah tells Summer to keep him kinda like a new pair of shoes. Mariah wonders how Victor knows Marco is involved in the murders.
Victor asks Jack why he thinks Marco will stay away because Jack wants him to. Victor tells him Marco’s ability to live are much greater in Genoa City and Victor wants to help Jack he won’t let Marco replace Jack.
Jack gets a call it is Phyllis she says, “He’s here, He’s here. He said he was here and I bashed him over the head.” Jack asks if Marco is dead. Phyllis tells him he is still breathing. Jack tells him, “Get out of there NOW!” Phyllis refuses she says, “I am staying right here and if he wakes up I will bash him on the head again. Just come home now!” Jack tells her he is coming, NOW and then turns to Victor and says, “You knew didn’t you? You knew he was coming to my house why didn’t you tell me?” Jack is furious. Victor denies it and wants to go with Jack. Victor tells him NO!
Phyllis is freaking that Marco could wake up she turns around and Marco is gone.
Phyllis shows Jack Marco’s blood on the ground and tells him that Marco was out cold she does not know how he got up and left. Jack is going to check the house and tells Phyllis to go into the car and lock herself in. Phyllis tells Jack she knew right away he was not him. Jack is freaking that Marco came near Phyllis. Phyllis tells Jack Marco loved his life and wants it back.
Summer comes to the Athletic Club to see Victor and Noah comes downstairs and Summer asks why Marco wants to come after him?
Over at the GCPD Det. Harding (Chris McKenna) is being run off his feet with phone calls everyone is calling about the power outage. Kevin and Mariah come in and Kevin tells Harding Victor has a guard on Summer and he thinks Victor is having them followed too. Kevin tells Harding they think Victor knows about a connection with Marco and the murders which is not public knowledge. Kevin wants to know how Victor found out and Harding asks if Kevin thinks someone in the GCPD told him, a cop.
Cane tells Nikki they will get Hilary out ASAP. Nikki is worried Neil is stuck with Hilary who broke his heart. Meanwhile, back in the elevator Hilary is freaking and Nikki calls Neil and tells him she is worried because of all of Neil’s talk about revenge. Neil tells Nikki it is all good and he thanks her for checking on him.
Hilary sees there is a hatch and she thinks she can fit in. Neil asks if she is a stunt women or superhero. Hilary asks for a boost. Neil says okay she starts to get on his hands the power goes up and they fall into each other they have a moment.
Jack has not found Marco and the blood drops ended at the driveway Jack thinks he stole a car to get there and probably left in it. Jack promises Phyllis Marco is not getting her. Phyllis wants to call the police and Jack tells her the police cannot find Marco before Victor and he finds him. Phyllis asks Jack, “What is Victor going to do he is the one who created this nightmare.”
Victor says he will have his family protected a guy like Marco in town is dangerous to them. Victor leaves and gets a phone call, it is Jack and he tells Victor Marco got away but he is bleeding with a head wound and cannot get far.
Summer tells Noah Grandpa is smooth but something is definitely happening. Summer sees Noah’s bag full of food and Noah tells her it is for Marisa and things happened. Summer asks Noah if he is sure Marisa is the right woman.
Someone comes to Marisa’s door she assumes it is Noah and opens it but it is Victor. Marisa asks Victor what he wants and Victor tells her he knows Noah is getting her food downstairs. Marisa asks again what he wants. Victor tells her he wants to know what else she is lying about.
Jack tells Phyllis she is not to be 3-feet away from him. Phyllis tells Jack Marco wants to erase him and she wants to know what the next move. Jack is shocked Marco came to his house he feels it is irrational. Phyllis tells Jack they need to think like a whacko. Phyllis thinks that now that Marco popped up he should go to Marisa and pretend to be Marco and see what information he can get from her.
Victor asks Marisa if Noah knows Marco killed Courtney. Marisa does not want to talk about Marco. Victor accuses Marisa of talking to Marco and Marisa denies it. Victor tells Marisa Marco is back in town and when and if Marco contacts her she better let Victor know. Marisa agrees. Victor tells her he knows she lies often and easily but if she does not tell him if Marco contacts her she may be in danger from Marco.
Summer tells Noah not to turn into Victor saving someone is not some brave selfless act. Summer tells Noah it is not love it is an ego boost. Noah denies he is in love. Summer tells him love is not just sex and picnics in bed.
Det. Harding tells Kevin whomever was the leak had to be the person guarding Victor. Mariah says, “That makes sense.” Harding tells Kevin to find the guard and he will plug the leak. Harding leaves and Kevin is pissed that Harding is bossing him around.
Neil tells Hilary the funny thing about darkness is you get use to it. It can be comforting. Hilary asks him if they have to do this. Neil tells her they don’t and he hopes her marriage to Devon can be based on trust. Neil says, “Your whole relationship with Devon is based on lies so I hope you can make your marriage work. I hope you too can be honest with each other. Lies will rip love apart.” The lights come on and Hilary says, “Thank God!” They are out of the elevator.
Nikki takes Neil aside and Neil tells her there is nothing to worry about revenge is the furthest thing from his mind.
Kevin is checking on his computer but frustrated because they won’t let him work the case.
Noah comes back to see Marisa and tells him he can see the lights came on. Marisa wants to go back to bed and Noah wants to talk. He tells Marisa he wants to talk about her.
Jack is pissed he does not want to pretend to be Marco to Marisa. Jack says Marisa saved his life. Phyllis is suspicious why Jack is jumping to Marisa’s defense.
Victor comes downstairs from Marisa’s room and the bodyguard tells him Summer just left. Victor tells him he is assigning someone else to his granddaughter. He tells the man to look for Marco who is back in town that is his priority.
Meanwhile Marco shows up bleeding and laughing he calls someone and says, “It is me, things did not go exactly like I planned and I am going to need your help again.”
