‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, April 13: Summer Sees Murder Weapon, Threatens Sharon With Police – Joe Rushed to Hospital in Critical Condition

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, April 13, hint that the outlook will seem bleak for several Genoa City residents. At the hospital, Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) will arrive to see Michael (Christian LeBlanc) hooked up to an IV. Michael won’t be happy that Lauren found out he was there and he’ll snap about having some irritation. Lauren will go find his doctor and Michael will tell Cane that he didn’t want to mess up everyone’s evening. Cane will tell Michael that he knows what it’s like to be in Lauren’s shoes and Michael will say that he can’t talk to Lauren about all the stuff he’s dealing with.

Lily (Christel Khalil) will hear Avery (Jessica Collins) scream and run to see what happened. They’ll look down at Joe’s (Scott Elrod) body from the balcony and Avery will tell Lily to call an ambulance. Avery will go to Joe and tell him she’s so sorry. Joe will be strapped to a stretcher and taken to the hospital. Paul (Doug Davidson) will say he needs to take Avery’s statement and they’ll head to the suite to talk. Avery will say that Joe gave her an unexpected kiss and she pushed him away. Paul will ask if they were alone when Joe fell. Later, Avery will have flashbacks of talking with Joe. A doctor will emerge to give Avery the news that Joe is being prepped for surgery. Joe may not walk again. The doctor will say they’re just trying to keep Joe alive.

When Michael is released, he’ll step out with Lauren in the hall and they’ll run into Avery. Avery will tell them that Joe fell and had to have surgery. When Lauren leaves, Avery will confess to Michael that she pushed Joe. Michael will be worried that Avery gave a statement about the incident and he’ll question why she was alone with Joe.

Summer (Hunter King) will snuggle up to Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) and they’ll discuss how they’re happy Sharon’s lie isn’t keeping them apart any longer. Noah (Robert Adamson) will show up and be surprised to see Kyle in his underwear. Noah will say that he was hoping Summer could help him sort through some of Courtney’s (Kelli Goss) belongings, but looks like Summer has already worked through her grief. Noah will accuse Kyle of using the situation to get Summer in bed, but Kyle will tell him to back off.   Once Noah’s gone, Kyle will put Summer’s mind at ease. Later, Kyle will leave Summer a note and she’ll look thoughtfully at a photograph that shows happier times with Austin (Matthew Atkinson).

In Avery’s office, Dylan (Steve Burton) and Sharon (Sharon Case) will argue about the tests that were done on the tire iron. Dylan will question why Sharon’s fingerprints were on it, but she’ll imply that she wouldn’t send him to find a murder weapon she had used. Dylan will bring up the possibility that Sharon thought she wiped it clean. Sharon will insist that she’s innocent and that she needs Dylan on her side or she’ll have no one. Dylan will consider that Sharon could have been framed and he’ll decide they have to figure out how her fingerprints got on the tire iron. After Avery calls and informs Dylan about Joe, he’ll lock up the lab results. Dylan will tell Sharon to wait for him at her place, but later we’ll see Sharon return to Avery’s office.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that Dylan will learn that Joe kissed Avery and he’ll call him a snake. Avery will say that Joe didn’t deserve to have this happen. Dylan will suggest that Avery needs a lawyer, but she’ll seem more concerned about Joe. The doctor will return with updates on Joe’s condition. As Dylan watches nearby, Avery will tell an unconscious Joe that she’ll make it up to him.

Noah will come in and wake up Sharon from a nap on the couch. Sharon will be confused about where she is and Noah will think she’s mixed her meds with alcohol. Suddenly, Sharon will scream “No!” Noah will see the tire iron on the coffee table and Sharon will spill the whole story of how she spotted another driver throwing it out near the cabin. Sharon will defend her innocence and claim she’s being set up. Summer will show up and accuse Sharon of being the murderer. Summer will start to call the police and Sharon will rush out. In her car, Sharon will call Dylan to tell him goodbye. Y&R rumors say Sharon will be arrested soon so “The Young and the Restless” viewers will want to stay tuned.
