‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers May 27: Nikki Seduces A Stranger, Joe Co-Opts Sharon In Plot To Keep Dylan and Avery Apart

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday May 27, 2015 reveal that Nikki is totally out-of-control when she wakes up in bed with another man.  Neil decides it is his mission to save Nikki and talks to Victoria and Nick about setting up an intervention.  Neil feels it is a matter of life and death.  Meanwhile, Joe tries to convince Sharon to help him keep Dylan and Avery apart.

Wednesday’s episode of Y&R opens with Sage [Kelly Sullivan] in a bathing suit putting on lotion. Nick [Joshua Morrow] comes in and says, “Let me help you!” He wanted to check on how she was doing.

Victoria [Amelia Heinle] tells Billy [Burgess Jenkins] Nikki [Melody Thomas Scott] denied she had one drop of alcohol at the merger party. Victoria tells Billy Victor refuses to help her and she wished there was something she could do.

The pounding of her door wakes Nikki up, she opens it and it is Neil [Kristoff St John] and she tells him to get lost. She is pissed she says he sold her out to Victor. [Eric Braeden]

Neil pushes his way into the room and tells her they have to talk, he looks at the bed and Neil says, “WHO THE HELL IS THAT.” There is a man in the bed where Nikki was sleeping; it is the drunk from the bar.

Over at Crimson Lights Sharon [Sharon Case] and Dylan [Steve Burton] are looking at places for him to live. Dylan says it is time for a fresh start and she agrees.

Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] comes over to their table and says she has to speak to Dylan in private Sharon leaves. Phyllis tells Dylan Avery is shacking up with Joe.

Meanwhile, Avery [Jessica Collins] is telling Joe [Scott Elrod] where things are at her place. Avery is giving Joe her big king-sized bed but Joe insists on taking the couch. He falls on the couch and they have “a moment”.

Victoria is talking to Billy about Nikki and how she cannot watch Nikki drown in a bottle of booze. Billy tells her there is nothing she can do, it is just the way it is. Victoria refuses to accept it.

Neil asks Nikki why the piece of trash is in her bed? Nikki does not remember. Neil tells the man off for taking advantage of Nikki but the man insists Nikki came on to him.

Joe tells Avery she is really generous letting him stay. Avery tells him she knows he will walk again and she does not have a social life so….

Phyllis informs Dylan that Joe and Avery are living together. She tells Dylan to take a step back and he will realize he loves Avery. Dylan tells Phyllis if Avery chooses Joe it is her choice and that he and Avery have moved on. Phyllis feels that Sharon is manipulating Dylan just like Joe is manipulating Avery. She leaves.

Dylan asks Sharon if she is curious what Phyllis wanted from him she tells him that it is not her business and Dylan tells her Joe is moving in with Avery. Sharon asks if he is upset…

Nick tells Sage he is proud of her deciding to have the baby. He assures her she won’t be alone. Victoria calls Nick and tells him she needs him it is about Mom.

The drunk Man in Nikki’s room is apologizing he claims he was minding his own business when Nikki grabbed him. Neil throws him out and then Nikki gasps, “OMG, what he said HAPPENED, it was me!”

Neil cannot believe Nikki seduced the drunken man. He tells her that her life is out of control. Nikki blames Victor and says, “He drove me to doing this.” Neil says, “You are a drunk you blame everyone else but it is you. You have to take responsibility.” Neil then tells her she has to get over the hangover and get sober before they talk more. Nikki tells her to stop telling her what to do she can take care of herself.

Once he leaves to turn the shower Neil calls security and says there is a man in her room who won’t leave!

Sharon tells Dylan Phyllis hates her and thinks Sharon is the reason Dylan and Avery broke up. Sharon asks if Dylan thinks she is manipulating him

Phyllis shows up at Avery’s house she says she can see how much better Joe is then asks about her guest bedroom. Avery tells her she knows there is none and one of them is sleeping on the couch. Joe leaves.

Phyllis lets Avery know she is concerned. She then basically asks Avery if Joe can still have sex. Avery is not happy and says she knows what she is doing. Phyllis calls her stupid. Phyllis says she wants Avery to be happy and she hates seeing Joe take over her life. Avery thinks this is really about Sharon because Phyllis hates Sharon. Phyllis leaves.

Dylan tells Sharon he does not think Sharon is manipulating him. He does not care what anyone says because he knows her and she is a good person. He knows she made bad errors in judgment in the past because of her illness.

Neil tells Nikki the water is hot and she should get in she tells him to get lost she does not need him. There is a knock on the door, it is security and Nikki tells the security guard to remove Neil because he is not wanted there. The security guard pulls Neil out of the room, he is shocked and screams Nikki get it together.

Nikki removes the covers on the bed and finds a ½ full bottle of vodka and then sees herself in the mirror and puts the bottle in the trash.

Nick is pissed that he is only finding out after two days that Nikki was drunk. Nick wants to know what they can do and Neil walks up and says there IS something you can do. Neil wants to speak to Nick and Victoria alone. Sage and Billy leave.

Neil tells them they are wrong about Victor he wants Nikki to go back to rehab. Neil tells them it is a serious situation. He found a therapist that does intervention and they only have one shot. He wants the intervention done that day at the ranch; he feels it is a matter of life and death right now. Neil knows Nikki is sober at the moment so if they act quickly it might work. Victoria and Nick agree.

Nikki looks at the bottle in the garbage and then for dinner. Victoria asks her to do it for the kids. Nikki says she will meet them there later. Nick tells Nikki that he is taking her to the ranch NOW once he sees the ½ drunk bottle of vodka in the garbage.

Sage tells Billy that Nick and Victoria are probably going to be gone for a bit. She wants to leave but Billy offers to buy a glass of milk to toast that she will be having a Victor Newman grandchild. Sage then lets Billy know that Victor did not have anything to do with ruining Billy and Chelsea’s relationship. She also assures him her and Nick are not getting married Nick is just going to be a good father. Billy tells her she can believe what she wants but Victor WILL find a way to be part of her child’s life. Billy warns her if she crosses Victor he will do the same thing to her he did to Sharon.

Joe and Avery come in to the club and Dylan and Sharon are there Avery asks Sharon to take Joe so she can talk to Dylan. Avery tells Dylan that she is not sleeping with Joe she is just taking care of them. Dylan tells Avery it is not his business anymore.

Meanwhile Joe informs Sharon he knows she sent the text to Avery and he tells Sharon he wants to make a pact because he thinks Avery is good for him and he thinks Dylan is good for her so they need to make sure Dylan and Avery don’t screw things up. Sharon looks confused but Joe tells her he knows she knows exactly what he is saying.

Billy tells Sage not to worry Victor has no reason not to like her.

Neil tells Phyllis about the intervention. Neil wants Flack [Peter Bergman] to be there. Phyllis tells Neil that Flack will be there. Neil tells her Nikki needs all the help she can get.

Nick takes Nikki by the arm and leads her to the door he gives Nikki her purse and tells her she can put her lipstick on in the car.

Dylan tells Sharon he lost the rental he was looking fat. Sharon offers to let Dylan move in with her. Dylan says it is tempting but he does not feel they are ready to take that step. Sharon agrees.

Avery and Joe are back home flipping to see who sleeps on the couch. He wins and she argues, he tells her to let him be a gentleman. Avery leaves to get ready to go to a meeting. Joe looks then gets up from his chair by himself and stands getting a little help from the table but essentially his legs are holding him up.
