‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday July 24: Jack Plans Victor Takedown-Threatens Adam, Nick Knows Sage Slept With Gabe, Paternity Results Revealed

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday July 24 reveal that although Jack is determined to give Victor an alibi for the night he shot him.  However, after Jack threatens Adam he lets Adam know he is not letting Victor off the hook.  It seems Jack has a plan to take Victor down when he least expects it.  Meanwhile, the paternity results are in and Sage finds out who her baby’s daddy is.

The Friday July 24, 2015 episode of Y&R opens with Ashley [Eileen Davidson] is thrilled Jack [Peter Bergman] is alive and Jack tells her he heard a lot when he was in the coma. Paul [Doug Davidson] walks in and wants to speak to Jack alone so everyone leaves.

Paul says to Jack it was too close he is glad to see him awake. Paul asks Jack, “Should I put Victor away for attempted murder?”

Adam [Justin Hartley] is at the hospital he is not happy he was not told Jack was awake. Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] tells Adam he is not an Abbot and Adam says he wants to see Jack. Phyllis tells Adam that Jack is talking to Paul. Phyllis tells Adam if Victor [Eric Braeden] is not going down for shooting Jack maybe Adam will.

Neil [Kristoff St.John] tells Nikki [Melody Thomas Scott] that Jack is awake. Nikki is relieved and thanks Neil for being the bearer of good news.

Victoria [Amelia Heinle] sees Abby [Melissa Ordway] in the office and asks why she is there and then says, “I guess you heard Gabriel [Justin Hartley]is a fraud and you are out of a job.” Victor walks in and says, “I would not give your sister the pink slip just yet.”

Sage [Kelly Sullivan] has the results of the DNA test she puts the envelope away and Nick [Joshua Morrow] walks in and says, “Were you ever going to tell me?”

Paul is waiting for Jack to answer him. Paul asks, “Did Victor know you were armed. You drew your gun first?” Jack says, “Only to lay down my arms that’s all. I was trying to say I wanted nothing more to do with the madness. Victor did not know that, I reached into my pocket and he shot me and here I am.” Paul says, “Mr. Bingham claims something else.” Jack says it was a bad night he wishes he could change things and he did not know Gabriel was there. Paul asks Jack exactly what he said. Jack says he is too tired and needs to rest. Paul tells him none of this had to happen. Jack agrees. Paul leaves and sees Adam he tells him he is glad he is there.

Paul says he needs to have a conversation with Adam at the police station. Adam goes into Jack’s hospital room amid protests from Phyllis and Ashley and Jack tells them he needs a word with his former son.

Victoria and Abby tells Victor they are thrilled to see him back. Victoria gets snarky about Abby and Victor tells Abby the deal she made was not so bad and Victoria is not happy. Abby asks if she can retain her title and Victor tells her he is proud of her but all his children deserve a chance. Victoria is pissed.

Sage tells Nick, “I swear I wanted you to know.” Nick tells her he wanted to be part of the baby’s life and he is up for all of it. Sage is confused and Nick says he took a message about a doctor’s appointment and he would like to go. Sage covers and says she will tell him about every doctor’s visit from now on. Sage leaves and Nick starts picking things up on the bar and finds the envelope with the paternity results. Nick opens up the envelope.

Jack tells them he really needs to talk to Adam. No one is pleased but they leave. Adam tells Jack he is glad to see him awake and asks, “Do you remember what happened the night of the shooting because according to Paul you had a gun.” Jack says, “That is exactly what I told him. Victor hired someone to take my place, to ruin my life, to destroy my company. You let him you son-of-a-bitch.”

Nikki tells Neil so much depends on what Jack says she is upset because if Jack says Victor is innocent she cannot believe she went to Paul and said she thought Victor was guilty. Victor walks up to their table and tells them Jack is awake and he is going to clear him. Nikki is really upset and Neil defends her Victor tells him to stay out of his life with his wife.

Jack is pissed at Adam but Adam tells him he did not find out about Marco [Peter Bergman]until the day Jack was shot. Jack says, “You took full advantage of that information.” Adam tells him he was told Jack was dead more than once. Jack asks, “How long did you mourn before you shook hands with the devil, two devils. Victor and Marco, Oh boy that had to be quite a pairing. I cannot believe you blackmailed Victor while I was bleeding, classic Adam Newman.” Adam tells him he did not know it was him. Adam does not get why Victor gets a pass.

Jack does not want to Phyllis to know because she would know she was sleeping with Marco. Jack tells Adam, “You are going to keep your mouth shut. YOU TELL ANYONE the truth and I tell the whole world you are ADAM NEWMAN!”

Nick is sitting down looking really upset and Sage walks in. Nick asks if there is anyone else she wants to tell about the appointment like maybe Gabriel. Sage asks what he is saying and he lifts the paternity envelope up.

Sage asks Nick if he read it and he says, “Why didn’t you tell me?” Sage apologizes. Nick says clearly there is a question about paternity. Nick says, “You slept with Gabe didn’t you.” Sage admits, “Once, when you broke up with me. I did not want to feel anything. It was not love, it was not like you and I. This baby cannot be Gabriel’s baby. Please tell me what the papers says, tell me you are the baby’s father?”

Neil tells Victor he supports Nikki she has had a rough time. Victor tells Neil to stay out of their marriage and Nikki tells Victor to stop. Victor asks to talk about it privately. Nikki says no and Victor storms out.

Abby asks Victoria how mad she is that Abby is still CEO. Victoria tells her she loves her but she is out of depth and the position is too much too soon.

Ashley cannot believe that Jack is siding with Victor. Phyllis tells Ashley Jack was not Victor’s target she does not think anything makes sense.

Adam is shocked how Jack is playing it. Jack tells Adam, “He does not have to tell anyone anything Adam is a Harvard man he should think it through. Once they find out about Marco it is only a matter of time that Gabriel Bingham gets sucked into the mess, you are an accessory you knew about Marco. Hell you tried to blackmail Victor at the scene of the crime. They will bring you into the GCPD and book you. They will fingerprint you and find out you are Adam Newman.”

Adam asks Jack what the hell he is doing telling Marisa about things. Jack admits he has told Marisa a lot of things. Jack says, “I want my life back and I survived because of Marisa because no one else helped me least of all you Adam!” Jack tells Adam he is not in this and does not have a vote. Adam says, “Great, Victor beat you once and for all he wins.” Jack replies, “Victor beat me, when did I say that? VICTOR NEWMAN IS GOING DOWN!! He just won’t see this coming.”

Neil is in Nikki’s room and he tells her she is doing great because she faced Victor and he was being a bully. Nikki says Victor told the truth she did not believe in him. Neil tells her Victor is never going to change but she can.

Ashley tells Victor that Jack admitted they were both armed. Ashley asks how they are supposed to handle the new version of the truth. Victor says they are both going to go back to work when he is well. Ashley makes sarcastic remarks about Jack going back to work with the man who shot him. Victor tells her it is for him and Jack to work out.

Adam tells Jack taking out Victor is at the top of his bucket list. Jack tells him not if he wants him to keep quiet and he wants to remain Gabriel Bingham. Adam tells him he is being summoned to the GCPD because he is a liar. Jack tells him, “Take your lumps, say you lied about me not having a gun.” Adam does not want to take the chance. Adam tells Jack he told Chelsea the truth about everything. Jack tells Adam, “I will pull strings before you get to booking. I have a judge in my pocket I am not afraid of using”

Adam is not interested but Jack loses it and angrily says, “You just walked me into a blood bath you all but put the gun in Victor’s hand. You want a life with Chelsea you keep your mouth shut and you follow my orders.”

Nick asks Sage if the test matters. Sage tells him the baby is her miracle but she needed to know so she had the test done. Sage says she would have done the right thing once she got the results. Nick is furious. Sage explains Gabriel has been asking me about the results but she does not regret the baby and in her heart she knows the baby is Nick’s baby. Sage says, “Please tell me what the results say.” He passes her the envelope and says, “See for yourself!” and leaves.

Victoria tells Abby she better watch for her mother because she wants Abby’s job. Victoria accuses Abby of planning to steal her man and her job. Abby and Victoria continue to bicker and Ashley tells them to stop.

Paul walks into his office and Christine[Laura Lee Bell]and Adam are there. Paul makes a remark about how it was quite a deception saying Jack was his father. Paul wants to know what else Adam is lying about. Paul asks him one more time was Jack carrying a weapon. Adam says, “If Jack says he was carrying a gun, I cannot argue that fact can I?” Christine jumps in and says, “You gave a false statement to the police.” Adam explains he did not see Jack with a gun but it does not mean Jack did not have one. Adam says, “I did not see the shooting, I heard the shot and saw Victor with a gun.” Paul asks if Victor planted the gun to frame Adam. Adam says, “My goal was to protect Jack and it is in his hands now.” Christine and Paul are frustrated.

Phyllis is with Jack and tells him she is fed up crying over his bedside she wants a second honeymoon. Jack tells her he said Gabe was his son to keep Victor off balance. Phyllis tells Jack for a while they thought he went back on the pharmaceuticals.

Christine is not pleased because Gabriel interfered in the shooting but Paul thinks Victor has something on Gabriel. Paul thinks that now that Jack is awake they are going to see more fallout.

Victoria does not think Gabriel is a threat anymore. Ashley is worried she cannot believe no one is concerned Victor and Jack met in the park with guns.

Nikki tells Neil Victor and her are connected and intertwined. Nikki tells Neil she thinks she calls Victor his trigger but she is starting to think that is her excuse. Neil tells Nikki she is making things her fault but Victor is no one’s victim.

Jack tells Phyllis he heard her voice it was like music. BUT the squeezing of her hand he does not remember what and when he did and he does not remember the two he wrote. BUT, he knows he was desperate to get back to her. He came back because she is his life. Victor walks up to Jack’s hospital room and looks in.

Sage is reading the paternity results and she is sobbing.

At the Athletic Club Nick comes in and sees Adam he says, “You stay away from Sage and the Baby!” Adam asks him if he really wants to have this conversation. Nick says, “You are dying to tell me you slept with Sage. I already know, Sage had a DNA test and the BABY IS MINE so you can stay THE HELL away!”

The is it “The Young and the Restless” fans!  Since Jack is intent on getting revenge on Victor do you think he has the same plans for Adam?  Will Nick dump Sage now that he knows she slept with Gabriel?  Considering that Adam/Gabriel and Nick are brothers are the paternity results correct?
