‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Tuesday July 14: Adam Tells Chelsea Billy Shot Him, Wants Hubby To Confess All, Jack Has Complications, Joe Drops Charges

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday July 14, 2015 reveal that although Chelsea caught Gabriel toasting himself as Adam Newman, he tries to lie.  Chelsea refuses to believe him and threatens him, Gabriel finally admits he is Adam Newman.  Adam tries to convince Chelsea that they have a second chance but Chelsea wants Adam to turn himself in.  Meanwhile, Jack suffers another seizure and is unresponsive in a coma.  Cane comes into the Athletic Club, sees Joe and punches him.

The Tuesday July 14 episode of “Y&R” opens with Adam [Justin Hartley] looking up at Victor’s portrait, “How are you feeling right now, curious? The one son that was never good enough in your eyes, never once. All I wanted was nothing more than your approval. Sitting behind your desk right now. I won! I say, to hell with it, lets toast to me, Adam Newman!” A glass drops and it is Chelsea[Melissa Claire Egan], “Why did you say that?” Adam, “Say what??” Chelsea, “That you were him, Adam!” Adam, “Chelsea I did not say that.” Chelsea, “Yes you did I heard you.” Adam, “No I think I what I said was I was like Adam.” Chelsea, “NO YOU SAID A TOAST TO ME ADAM NEWMAN!”

Victor [Eric Braeden] is in jail and Christine [Laura Lee Bell] is visiting him. Victor tells her he knows she wants him to confess but I have already told you the truth. Christine tells him there is not a shred of evidence to cohobate it the evidence is to the contrary. Christine offers him a plea bargain but Victor refuses.

Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] is with Jack [Peter Bergman] and he has written a 2 on a note pad and Phyllis cannot figure it out. Meanwhile someone is watching outside and relays what she is seeing to a police officer. Phyllis reiterates to Jack, “this is the answer to my question who Victor was going to meet in the park, the person intended to meet.” Phyllis does not understand it. Meanwhile Jack is thinking and Phyllis cannot hear him, “There are two of us the man who took my place Marco [Peter Bergman], you need to stop him.” Jack goes into distress, machines start beeping and the doctors run in.

Dylan[Steve Burton] asks Paul [Doug Davidson]if he caught the guy and Paul tells Dylan the man is in custody and he was in possession of Avery’s [Jessica Collins] phone and purse. Paul tells the officer he wants him to collect evidence and Dylan says, “You are not going to arrest Avery are you?” Paul says, “Absolutely!”

Meanwhile back with Adam and Chelsea Adam mockingly says, “You got me, I had plastic surgery and Elvis is alive too. I was drunk trying to rile up Lurch.” Chelsea says, “How do you know that name Adam was the only person who knew it. You need to tells the truth now and be honest. If you don’t tell the truth I will walk out and never come back. I want the truth.”  Adam says, “I told you the truth it is me Adam!”

Adam tells her he is telling her the truth. Chelsea does not believe it and says she saw the coroners report and the dental records. Adam tells her they were falsified. He tells Chelsea Gabriel Bingham saved him and lost his life saving him. Chelsea does not believe it. Adam tells her when he woke up he was covered in burns and they saved him. He then tells her, “Sage[Kelly Sullivan] saved me she was the person who falsified the documents.” Chelsea is still not convinced. Adam tells her Sage gave him Gabriel Bingham’s face and life. Chelsea says, “Adam would not do that, Adam would have come back to me.” Chelsea thinks he is making it up. Adam tells her she knew it was him the first time she slept with him, the first time she looked into his eyes.

Chelsea takes his face in her hands and then hugs him.

The doctors tell Phyllis her husband is stable but unconscious still and unresponsive. Phyllis sits down at Jack’s bed and says, “It is important he is still here with us and I am not giving up.”

Victor tells Christine she has no proof he shot Jack Abbot. Christine says she has an eyewitness. Victor tells her if she puts Gabriel Bingham on the stand Michael [Christian LeBlanc]will tear him to threads.

Dylan is shocked Paul is going to arrest Avery but Paul tells her a shot was fired. Avery tells Dylan Paul has to arrest her he has to do it completely by the book. Paul says if Joe drops the charges he does not have to arrest Avery. Dylan asks Joe[Scott Elrod] if he will drop the charges.

Phyllis asks Jack if he is trying to give her a heart attack he does not squeeze her hand and she tells him to rest.

Dylan tells Joe if he pressed charges against Avery her career could be over. Joe is pissed Dylan is afraid for Avery’s career and Dylan tied him to a chair and Avery tried to shoot him. Joe says, “I am the victim here!” Michael walks in and says he wants a word with his client alone.

Chelsea asks why Adam did not tell her soon. Did he think she would turn him in? Adam says he did not know what to expect, he did not know if she wanted him back. Chelsea is sobbing, “You let me talk to you. I thought there would never be another happy day. You let me think you were dead?” Adam explains, “I was trying to protect you. The only thing that matters is that we are together, right?” Chelsea says, “NO, everything is a lie. Everything died the night Delia died. What did you risk Adam if I did not walk in on you, you would have let me believe you were Gabriel Bingham for the rest of my life?” Adam asks if that would have been so bad. “I want to start from the beginning. It does not matter what you say. I know that you love me. I found my way back to you because you and I are forever.”

Paul tells Dylan that he handled Avery well. Dylan tells Paul Avery did not want to hurt anyone. Paul tells Dylan he should train his guys to be calm.

Michael tells Avery they need to get her out of this. Michael tells Avery, “You will apologize to Joe and you will walk out of here free and clear!” Avery says to Joe, “Joe I am very sorry, I am sorry I ever met you, I am sorry you came to Genoa City. I am sorry I shot that bullet in the ceiling and not into your face!” Joe, Michael, Dylan and Paul looked shocked.

Chelsea says, “If I still love you it solves nothing.” Adam tells Chelsea, “This is our second chance.” Chelsea is upset and says, “What as Gabriel Bingham and you adopt Connor and I pretend there is nothing wrong. I cannot do this.” Adam says, “Think of Connor he is going to lose his father again. Is this what you want?”

Dylan tells Avery he has to leave. Avery tells Dylan that Michael will babysit her. Avery tells Dylan to go home to Sharon. Dylan tells Sharon she never gave up on him even at his lowest and she encouraged him to get help and he is grateful she did it. Dylan says, “Please Avery you have to get help!” Avery says, “I know!”

Dylan is at Crimson Lights and Sharon[Sharon Case] comes in – Dylan tells her he had to gather some thoughts because Avery is in trouble and needs help. Dylan tells Sharon, “Someone needs to help Avery and it won’t be me!”

Michael tells Avery he is going to take her home to rest up because in the morning she is turning herself in. Avery tells Michael she cannot do it and she cannot practice law. Avery goes on, “I have to believe in the cause and I don’t believe in it. I dedicated my whole life to the law and I did not trust it. I wanted to kill Joe.” Michael tells her, “You are going to take a few days off and get your head clear and come back.” Avery tells him it will take more than a couple of days.

Phyllis goes to see Victor and shows him the paper where Jack wrote a number 2. She asks Victor if it means anything to him. Victor says, “Two humps on a camel.” Victor says, “Jack is out of the coma nice.” Phyllis tells Victor Jack is still in a coma. Victor says, “Jack does a lot of things I don’t understand why did he lure me in the park to shoot him and accuse me of embezzlement. If I did not defend myself I would be dead. When I get out of here I will make sure Jack Abbott does not hurt you.” Phyllis tells Victor she wants the truth and she is going to get it from him.

Victor says, “I wish I could help but I am baffled.” Phyllis tells Victor she does not buy it but when Jack wakes up he is going to tell everyone what Victor is hiding.

Dylan is picking up chairs at Crimson Lights and Sharon starts to help and Dylan tells her to stop because he is being extra cautious.

Chelsea tells Adam, “Connor already lost you. Don’t you see? Why don’t you try to be a role model for him Adam? Show him he should not be a coward and confess your crimes. OMG Jack, Jack thinks you are his son?” Adam tells her it was Jack’s idea. Chelsea is flabbergasted Jack knew about Adam. She cannot believe that Adam told Jack and not her. Adam says, “I couldn’t tell you I was protecting your from the truth I protected the one person I could trust.” Chelsea cannot believe Jack did it for him. Adam says, “He did not do it for me he did it for Billy if I go to prison so does Billy.” Adam shows Chelsea a bullet wound and tells her Billy shot him when he was going to the police station to confess.

Adam tells her he finally found a way to one up his father. Chelsea asks him how he pulled it off. Was it another deal? Chelsea says, “Wow let me guess you saw Victor shoot Jack and you made him make you in charge of Newman Abbot. You have not changed one bit. It is amazing! I hope you can sleep well at night!”

Adam begs her he says they can figure this out. Chelsea is upset she says, “Do you have any idea what keeping this secret would do to us. How can you do this to us?”

Joe is drinking at the Athletic Club and he calls Paul and tells him he has decided not to press charges against Avery. He says it is his good deed for the year. He gets up Cane[Daniel Goddard] come in and punches him and says, “That is what you get for sleeping with my wife you son-of-a-bitch!”

Avery tells Michael she thinks she needs to leave town for a little while. Michael refuses to let her go he tells her she will get through it, she has a lot of support. She puts her head on his shoulder and he says, “Lets get you home.”

Sharon tells Dylan that she likes how he cares for the baby she finds it sexy. Dylan tells Sharon he appreciates how she sent Paul to help Avery.

Adam tells Chelsea if there was another way out he would have done it. Chelsea tells him there is another way out but he does not want to face it. Adam says, “You are talking about turning myself in aren’t you?” Chelsea asks him to consider it. Adam says, “NO, no way! I just got you back, I got my wife back, my son. You are all I care about and I am not losing you again! I need you to help me.” Chelsea says, “I know what is at stake here. But I just don’t know if I can live with what you have done!” Chelsea leaves…
