'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers April 3: Sharon Worries She’ll Be Framed for Austin’s Murder – Courtney Is Baffled by the Surveillance Footage – Devon and Lily Convince Neil to Fight the Charges

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, April 3, tease that several Genoa City residents will have a change of plans. Dylan (Steve Burton) will bicker with Avery (Jessica Collins) about how he didn’t come to bed. Avery will think Dylan was stewing over her business dinner with Joe (Scott Elrod), but he’ll say that he had something else on his mind. Sharon (Sharon Case) will stop by to share something she remembered with Dylan. It seems Sharon will start to recall more about the night Austin was murdered. Dylan will listen as Sharon describes pulling over on Old Post Road and seeing a car from the other direction slow down to observe her. Sharon will be nervous that she could end up being framed for Austin’s (Matthew Atkinson) murder. Later, Avery will come home and realize that Dylan has been worried about something that concerns Sharon. Dylan will say that he can’t fill her in on any details and Avery will ask what Sharon has gotten herself into this time.

YR-Abby

At the athletic club, Abby (Melissa Ordway) will convince Stitch (Sean Carrigan) to let her accompany him on his trip to get Kelly’s (Cady McClain) ashes. However, they’ll make time to see Noah (Robert Adamson) and Courtney (Kelli Goss) tie the knot before their plane takes off. At the police station, Courtney will sneak a peek at the surveillance footage and she’ll see something that doesn’t quite add up.

YR-Courtney

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers hint that Noah will get some gentle ribbing from Nick (Joshua Morrow) as he prepares for his wedding in the park. Nick will then give a touching speech as everyone gathers around. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will revisit the theory that Sharon or Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) could have killed Austin. Summer (Hunter King) will talk to Noah about how supportive Kyle has been and how he hasn’t let her down. Stitch and Abby will make their way over to the park and Summer will manage to keep things fairly civil when she sees her late husband’s mistress. Mariah will be disappointed by the lack of drama.

When Noah gets a text from Courtney, he’ll announce that they’ll have to postpone the wedding because Courtney got caught at work. Once he’s alone with the mystery bunch, Noah will say that Courtney told them to meet her at the Abbott cabin. It sounds like the gang could get some news that provides another break in the case. The rumors say that Courtney may pay a steep price for her part in their unofficial investigation. Stick with Soap Opera Spy for Y&R updates as the story behind Austin’s murder continues to unfold.

Meanwhile, Devon (Bryton James) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will try their best to help Neil (Kristoff St. John) prepare for court. Lily will say that she wants to get up in the courtroom to put in a good word for Neil. Devon will agree that Lily could prove Neil is a decent man. Neil will grow angry and send them away. Leslie (Angell Conwell) will urge Neil to quit punishing Devon. After all, Devon’s only trying to help. Later, Neil will tell Lily he’s sorry and that he’s decided he won’t let Hilary (Mishael Morgan) win. Neil is going to fight the charges. Devon will go to him and say that he wants to take the blame for Neil’s state of mind at the time of the accident. Neil will accuse Devon of wanting to clear his conscience, but Devon will say that’s not the case and that he loves him.

Hilary will see the assistant district attorney, Winston Mobley (Ryan Caltagirone), at Crimson Lights. After a little flirting, Winston will ask Hilary out on a date. When Winston leaves, Devon will approach Hilary and say he should probably tip the poor guy off about what he’s in for with her. Devon will then decide that if that guy’s stupid enough to get involved with her, he deserves to get duped just like he did.
