‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers April 23: Victor Threatens An Out Of Control Fake Jack, New Name and Boss For Jabot, Gloria Warns Chelsea

The Young and the Restless spoilers for April 23, 2015 have Victor not pleased as he realizes that Fake Jack is acting very un-Abbott like.  Since the merger changes have already started to take place at Jabot with a new name and new management.  Stitch and Abby have a new boss who is not pleased about their new relationship.

The April 23, 2015 episode of Y&R opens with Stitch [Sean Carrigan] in bed and guess who is there with him Abby [Melissa Ordway] they made love several multiple times and places. Abby is conflicted it was great but was it right. No joke, Stitch broke up with Victoria and one minute later he is in bed with her sister.

Ashley [Eileen Davidson] leaves a message for Abby they have to talk about the merger. She wants Abby to come into the office.

Fake Jack [Peter Bergman] tells Ashley that Victor [Eric Braeden] and Victoria [Amelia Heinle] are going to stop by the lab. They are one big happy family now. Fake Jack lets Ashley know she is either with him or without him maybe she wants to go the route of Billy and quit. Victor walks in and says Ashley is the best in the business and they don’t want to lose her.

The headline on the Internet and in the papers is “Match made in Heaven” with a photo of Jack and Victor smiling. Billy [Burgess Jenkins] is looking at the headline and still does not understand why Jack did what he did. Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan ] tells him it is Jack’s decision. Billy feels Jack lost his soul.

Over at the Athletic Club Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] is shocked she tells Kyle [Lachlan Buchanan] she cannot decide if Jack has gone over the edge. Smelling booze on Jack’s breath did not make her feel warm and fuzzy.

Chelsea is cutting Billy off looking at the announcements about the merger. Billy tells her he cannot turn his back on the family. Billy asks where Chelsea’s super fan, Gabriel is. Billy is surprised he has not swooped in to save the company and impress Chelsea.

Kyle is concerned because if Jack is acting like having a drink is not a big deal, he is in a bad place. Phyllis tells Kyle Jack said it was a one-time thing to celebrating the merger. Kyle wants to know if Phyllis knows what Jack is up to – Kyle does not understand the merger.

Fake Jack tells Victor no one knows better how important his sister is to the company. Victor tells Jack they should do everything to make Ashley feel comfortable.

Victor gives Ashley an envelope and asks Ashley her to look at the new company look and name. She opens the envelope and the new company name is “Newman Abbott.” Ashley is surprised it has happened so fast – she thought the company would remain Jabot. Ashley says she can put her differences aside because she has to work with Victoria. Victor clarifies and tells Ashley, “YOU WONT BE WORKING WITH VICTORIA YOU ARE WORKING FOR VICTORIA!!”

Kyle is still confused about the merger and says, “Dad would never let Victor swallow Jabot whole.” Phyllis tells Kyle to trust his father, have faith in him. Phyllis wants the rest of the family get on board with Jack’s vision.

Chelsea has no idea why Gabe [Justin Hartley] went Rogue, she speculates it may be because of the divorce. Billy hopes Gabe is gone for good. In the meantime Billy says he has to protect the Abbot family from “Snidely!” Billy leaves.

Chelsea calls Gabriel/Adam and says, “you are still not answering, I am sorry we cannot have more but if you care about your friendship with Jack you will come home. Just come home.” Gloria walks in.

Stitch and Abby are in bed talking about their relationship. How she was a brat and annoying when he met her. Now he thinks she is sweet and sexy. Abby wants to know if they are just going to ignore Victoria. Stitch says they parted ways and it was mutual. Abby tells him to stop kissing her they have jobs and have to find out what fresh hell is at work.

Victor tells Ashley that the merger calls for restructuring and from now on Victoria is COO and Ashley reports to Victoria because Victoria has so much experience in cosmetics. Ashley is freaking… she tells Jack he promised to make her Co-COO Ashley says, “this situation reminds me of when Adam’s office was moved to the men’s room to show him who was boss.”

Victoria tells Ashley if she does not see the benefit of them working together maybe Ashley should stay in the lab because her skills are excellent. If she is going to let emotion cloud her judgment she is proving she is not the leadership the company needs.

Ashley asks Jack if this is the way to keep her happy and he says, “Welcome to our Brave New World!”

Chelsea tells Gloria [Judith Chapman] that Connor’s Nanny quit. Gloria is upset that Jack sold to the devil. She says Jabot is caput and asks Chelsea to be careful and wonders where she will be after all of this. Gloria has ideas that would put Chelsea’s line through the stratosphere. Gloria warns Chelsea that Victoria is going to try to prove who is calling the shots to Chelsea.

Ashley says, “Just to be clear I am not going to quit this job, no matter how insulting it is, I am going to fight for my father’s legacy someone has to.” Jack says WONDERFUL, lets continue the tour Victor I want to show you a few things.

When Fake Jack and Victor leaves Fake Jack is pissed and says Ashley is a pain in the butt and Victor should have let her quit. Victor warns Fake Jack that Ashley is his sister and he should want her to succeed he tells Fake Jack not to continue to have questionable behavior. Fake Jack tells Victor that Phyllis is a tiger. Victor warns him to stop acting like a teenager!

Victoria has decided Ashley’s office is a good one for her and tells Ashley to clear her stuff and Ashley can move into the lab and use that as an office.

Victor tells Fake Jack, “Don’t u get cocky you have a face like Jack Abbot that is why they think you are Jack Abbot but your behavior is becoming a little coo coo do you understand? That is not what he would wear that tie!” Fake Jack, “What, I am going to have lunch with the Mrs.” Victor, “You are doing no such thing alone” Fake Jack, says “I can handle Phyllis.” Victor replies, “There is too much at stake you will not have lunch with her yourself. I CALL THE SHOTS HERE!!!!”

Abby and Stitch shows up and Victor asks if she knows about the merger. Abby confirms they do. Victor and Jack leave.

Abby apologizes for being late to Ashley and she says don’t tell me tell the boss and Victoria walks out

Billy asks if they all saw Jack and Victor shaking hands in their moment of glory. Kyle is sure his father has a plan. Billy tells Phyllis he is going to show his brother he made a mistake and she is going to help him.

Abby thinks it is cool all of them working at the same place. Ashley tells Abby and Stitch that Victoria is the new COO. Victoria is going to her office and going to call them in one at a time when she leaves Abby freaks and says her office, Mom is was your office. It finally dawns on Stitch and Abby they are now working for Victoria. Abby is shocked that Ashley is so calm. Victoria comes out and asks to see Ben (Stitch) first.

Victoria tells Stitch that this is his job and he cannot show up all moon-eyed and late. She tells him it has only been one-day and you have already moved on.

Ashley asks Abby what the hell she was thinking waltzing in with Stitch like that.

Phyllis tells Billy Jack asked her to trust him and she is. Kyle agrees Jack does things his own way and he is supporting him. Billy continues to plead his case.

Fake Jack walks in apologizes for bein late and starts kissing Phyllis – Victor walks in behind him. Billy sarcastically says, “Isn’t this cute, you two together.”

Victor gets a call – and leaves. Kyle asks to talk to Jack in private. He asks Jack if he is okay and asks Jack if he has a plan. Fake Jack tells Kyle – “This merger is more than anyone knows including Victor.”

Chelsea tells Gloria that Victoria has a lot on her plate and Chelsea is not even on her radar. Gloria is not convinced after all Victoria is a Newman and she multi-tasks. Gloria tells Chelsea she is her family and this is for her own good. She should never let her guard down because when she does someone will swoop in and take it. She tells Chelsea to go to Jabot and she will watch Connor.

Abby comes in to see Victoria and professes her loves for her and comments how it is awkward. Victoria asks Abby to be on time and set a good example, be present and be the best and not focused on her personal life.

Ashley tells Stitch she cannot believe he works with 2 sisters and broke off with one and slept with the other in a minute. Ashley feels Victoria is going to make Stitch’s life miserable. She suggests Stitch might want to quit.

Fake Jack asks Phyllis if she likes his tie because he is broadening his horizon. Billy says he is going to leave and Victor tells him he is welcome to stay but Billy says he is leaving and asks Jack if he has time he would like a one on one.

Ashley asks Victoria permission to go to lunch. Victoria agrees and informs Ashley she is going to change her artwork in the office because it does not feel right.

Chelsea comes to Jabot. Victoria asks if Chelsea heard about the changes and Chelsea agrees she has. Chelsea is there to remind Victoria how profitable her line and how it has made an impact on the market. Victoria thanks her. Chelsea tells Victoria that she won’t allow Victoria to use her company to bring Billy in line. Chelsea then lets her know she has been approached by many other companies and she would be glad to take her sketches and go elsewhere. Victoria asks if she is finished?

Ashley calls Jack and leaves a message she asks him if he has a plan because what he is doing to the company is unacceptable. He is destroying his father’s legacy.

Victoria tells Chelsea she knows how much value her line brings to the company. Victoria says she would have to be stupid to cut her line and she won’t. Victoria lets Chelsea know she will be in touch.

Abby tells Stitch that Victoria is mad and angry and maybe they should have waited. Stitch kisses Abby and Victoria sees it.

Phyllis leaves to go to the powder room and Victor tells Fake Jack to put his eyes on him. He says. “What did I tell you about sticking to the damn script.” Fake Jack replies, “Come on this is about the tie she liked the tie.” Victor, “It is not about the damn tie you are beginning to become very un-Abbott like.” Fake Jack says, “I’ll handle it.” Victor angrily says, “You don’t even know what it is I want you to handle.” Fake Jack laughs and says, “Lighten up, what are you drinking anyway?” Victor has had enough and grabs Fake Jack’s hand and points and says, “DRINKING! Do you think this is a game? This is very serious business my friend. I know you love playing with Jack Abbott’s toys but I will put you back into that miserable Peruvian prison I got you out of and I can put you back into it.” Victor looks mad and in walks Ashley and Billy.

That is it The Young and the Restless Fans!  It really appears that Victor is losing control of Fake Jack.  How long do you think it is going to take for it all to backfire on Victor?  As the new COO of Newman Abbott Victoria seems determined to be mean to her new employees.  Do you think Victoria is going overboard?  Did Abby hop into bed with Stitch too soon?
