‘The Young and the Restless’ News: Kate Linder Proudly Shows Off LA Shriners Float For Rose Parade

“The Young and the Restless” Kate Linder [Esther Valentine] proudly showed off the Los Angeles Shriner’s Float for the Rose Parade. “Y&R” fans can catch the 127th Rose Parade on NBC on New Year’s Day – make sure to check your local listings.

Kate took to Twitter with a photo of the enormous creation comprised of thousands of yellow flowers. The accompanying caption says, “Putting finishing touches on @LAShriners float. Thank u @producerdeb! Can’t wait to see the float in @RoseParade. Linder only gave “The Young and the Restless” fans were only given a peak at the L.A. Shriners float though! It looks as if we’ll need to wait until January 1, 2016 to see the finished Rose Parade float.

The finishing touches were being put on what looks like a big bear wearing a Shriners hat only about 2 days before the big event! In addition to the snapshot on Twitter, Kate also shared photos on Instagram. In one of the posts Kate is surrounded by hundreds of roses. Linder captioned the photo simply, “getting ready for #theroseparade.”

Another photo on Kate Linder’s Instagram shows the giant Los Angeles Shriner’s float from the back, and Kate hold a box with just a few yellow flowers. It must have taken hours and hours to get those thousands of buds in place! Linder captioned this photo, “Putting finishing touches on @lashriners float @rose_parade @producerdeb.”
