'The Young and the Restless' News: Kristoff St. John Wishes Y&R Fans Happy Holidays – Cast And Crew Finished Filming Until 2016“The Young and the Restless” Kristoff St. John [Neil Winters] wants “Y&R” fans to have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The cast and crew of the CBS daytime soap opera certainly will!

Kristoff shared a photo on Instagram – everyone has wrapped up filming on “The Young and the Restless” set for 2015. The Christmas trees are still up, but the sets and backstage look abandoned!

St. John added a caption to the snapshot – “Last Day of work at CBS studios for the rest of the year. From all of us at YR, cast and crew alike, we wish all of you a happy holidays, Merry Christmas, and happy new year. #youngandrestlesscbs #youngandrestless #cbs.”

So, that’s it “The Young and the Restless” fans! There won’t be any more filming on the “Y&R” set until after we ring in 2016. The new year will bring a few changes as Scott Elrod [Joe Clark] and Burgess Jenkins] exit and Jason Thompson [soon-to-be Billy Abbott] joins the cast of “Y&R.”

It’s been a great 2015 for “The Young and the Restless.” The daytime drama has enjoyed the highest ratings ever. Eric Braeden [Victor Newman] confirmed numerous times that he is NOT RETIRING! “The Young and the Restless” fans have enthusiastically welcomed Justin Hartley [Adam Newman] and are very pleased that the Gabe Bingham/Adam Newman reveal is O-V-E-R!

What will 2016 bring for Neil Winters and family? Will Hilary Hamilton [Mishael Morgan] remember she is married to Devon Hamilton [Bryton James]? Will Lily Ashby [Christel Khalil] and Cane Ashby [Daniel Goddard] forgive and reunite?
