General Hospital Spoilers: Is Fluke NOT Luke Spencer – Another GH Curve Ball as Helena’s Mind Control Fails?

For months General Hospital fans have racked their brains trying to figure out who Fluke was. Fans have speculated that Fluke was everyone from Anthony Zacchara [Bruce Weitz] to Bill Eckert [Anthony Geary] but this week all roads seemed to be leading to mind control.
Earlier this week we once again saw Fluke in the basement of the former Spencer home speaking to the what we thought was the real Luke. At the end of the conversation Fluke put a bomb in Luke’s lap. Once Fluke left Dante [Dominic Zamprogna] who was knocked out by Fluke woke up and as he came too he looked in the chair and saw not Luke, but a decayed corpse.
Executive producer of GH, Frank Valentini tweeted to fans, “Shocking surprise today on #GH” and he wasn’t kidding. As soon as the episode aired horrified fans started to suspect that Fluke might be Luke under mind control.
The main suspect in the mind control was the evil Helena Cassadine [Constance Towers.] Helena has used mind-control before and is currently using it on Jake/Jason. For most of the week when Helena was interacting with Fluke she treated him like a child and it certainly looked like Helena was the Big Bad in charge. But that all changed on today’s episode. Just when we think we have something figured out the writers throw another curve ball.
On today’s episode Fluke comes to Windermere and he threatens Helena’s precious grandson Nicholas. He goes as far as to point a gun at Nicholas’ head while Helena begs him not to shoot Nicholas. What!?! Thank goodness Fluke does not get the opportunity to shoot Nicholas because just in the nick of time the calvary gets there, Nathan and the rest of the PC police department!
Yes, it looks like Helena may not be in charge and doesn’t that cancel the idea of mind control? Could Fluke be someone else and could poor Luke still be locked away at Miscavige.

Fluke pulled a gun on Nicholas yesterday … Holding the gun IN HIS RIGHT HAND. GH vets know that the REAL LUKE SPENCER was LEFT-HANDED! He is definitely Bill because Julian met him in the witness protection program. Though Bill was to be presumed dead, he might have been scooped away and put into the witness protection program. In 1993, Bill and his cousin Luke Spencer came face to face when Luke’s son, Lucky Spencer was sent back to Port Charles as his parents were still on the run from notorious mobster Frank Smith. Frank’s men found Lucky staying with his friend/cousin Sly Eckert. They also found Sly’s father – Bill Eckert – who was the spitting image of Luke. Bill was trying to protect Sly and Lucky from a hit man. Bill was then shot in a case of mistaken identity and died in Luke’s arms. He probably has revenge on Luke though the only other person I would think it could be is Sly and that is a stretch…. It still could be Frank Smith
Fluke CANNOT be Luke. If Fluke is Luke, then who did Julian meet in the witness protection program all those years ago? Luke was never in the program — during that time period he was with Laura raising Lucky. There’s still more to this story.
