‘General Hospital’ Rumors – The Road Ahead: Morgan NOT Avery’s Father, Ava Pregnant Again – Major Mob Storyline – Robert Scorpio Coming Back?

After the wrap of General Hospital Fan Club Weekend 2015 and social media is abuzz with all sorts of spoilers from chats with the actors and tweets from showrunners. We’ve cobbled together some ‘General Hospital’ spoilers from all of the social media posts that we think will be of interest in the major storylines in coming weeks.

First, there have been a ton of ‘General Hospital’ rumors swirling for many long months that baby Avery would turn out to be the love child of Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] and Ava Jerome [Maura West]. Morgan spent a lot more time bedding Ava than his dad Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] did but it was a life-saving maneuver for Ava that Ava is Sonny’s kid not Morgan’s.

Speculation has continued since Ava’s birth that the baby would turn out to be Morgan’s and that either Ava had rigged the test to save her life or, in a more recent rumor, that Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] messed with the test to sever the tie between Morgan and Ava. But the powers that be at GH reportedly told Bryan Craig that baby Avery is 100% not his kid. But Ava could get pregnant again…

And speaking of the powers that be at General Hospital, Frank Valentini recently told Bryan Craig that the entire Corinthos clan are moving into the forefront in coming months with a major storyline. How exciting is that? Lately, we have barely seen Sonny and Carly unless they were cuddling baby Avery or chastising Morgan to stay off Denise DeMuccio. Looks like major mob stuff is coming to Port Charles.

Kelly Monaco aka Sam Morgan had some stuff to say at her talk on Sunday. First she’s hoping for the wardrobe ladies at GH to give her some better rags. She was at GHFCW in a fancy dress and says she’s tired of the dull workout looking clothes she’s been wearing for years. Kelly also encouraged fans to tweet the writers – she says that it can absolutely affect the outcomes of storyline.

But clothing aside, Kelly said that when it comes to the big reveal that Jake Doe [Billy Miller] is Jason Morgan, she wants to see Sam go off the handle crazy insane and ranting when she finds out that Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] and Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] have been lying and keeping her husband from her and her son Danny. Sam is ready to kick some arch nemesis ass – woot woot!

Frank Valentini confirmed Kelly’s hopes saying that Jake/Jason will explode once he finds out Liz has been lying to him and that Sam will similarly be furious. This is interesting because it conflicts with a recent rumor that Jake will hear from Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig] that Liz has been lying since the Nurse’s Ball and he’ll keep the secret while he secretly tests Liz. I suppose both could happen…

Finally, there is a HUGE ‘General Hospital’ rumor that emerged from GHFCW 2015 that Tristan Rogers may be coming back as Robert Scorpio to fill the male legacy character vacancy left by Luke Spencer [Anthony Geary]. Think about it. There’s really only Scotty Baldwin [Kin Shriner] in that age group. Alan Quartermaine is gone. Franco [Roger Howarth] is younger. Sonny is younger. Duke Lavery [Ian Buchanan] just died. There really is a void for a male actor of a certain age. Fingers crossed!
