‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, January 30: Lauren and Phyllis Gloat, Gloria Furious – Jack Gets Drunk – Nikki Comforts Sharon – Ashley Stuns

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, January 30, tease that Jack (Peter Bergman) will make an interesting admission to Ashley (Eileen Davidson). At Jabot, Jack mentions that he’s still waiting on his legal team to change the contract. Ashley doesn’t understand why Jack is moving forward with this. He didn’t get controlling interest like he wanted.

Ashley will realize that this was about Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), not Fenmore’s. Jack will confess that it’s true, but he’ll insist that he’s not looking for a reunion. Phyllis and Ravi (Abhi Sinha) could be a good team. Ashley isn’t sure she buys that Jack’s goals are purely work-related.

At the athletic club, Phyllis and Lauren (Trace E. Bregman) chuckle about backing Jack into a corner. They spot Gloria (Judith Chapman) and fill her in on the deal. Gloria thinks Lauren gave up controlling interest, but they quickly correct her. She’s clearly stunned by the news.

Gloria sets up a meeting with Jack at Top of the Tower. She rants about not getting the job she was promised. Jack says he can’t hire Gloria since he doesn’t have control of the company. He states that he’s not pleased with the arrangement either.

Jack offers to buy Gloria a drink to thank her for her help. He eventually decides to throw back a few, too. Jack excuses it by noting that pills were his problem, not alcohol. They both get drunk and laugh as they stumble out of the restaurant.

Back at Jabot, Ashley gives Ravi updates on their new partnership with Fenmore’s. He learns he’ll probably have to work with Phyllis. While they munch on Chinese takeout, Ravi keeps wondering what time it is. Ashley asks if Ravi’s got somewhere to be. He says he planned on heading to The Underground.

Ravi asks Ashley to come with him, but she sends him off by himself. Meanwhile, Noah (Robert Adamson) helps Nick (Joshua Morrow) set everything up for a big party. They talk about Sharon (Sharon Case) being on edge lately. Nick feels like Dylan (Steve Burton) will be fine. He suggests that he might be able to help them fully patch things up once Dylan comes home.

Once the party gets underway, Phyllis and Lauren down drinks as they revel in their victory. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) arrives and is thrilled when Lauren starts dancing on the bar. Phyllis and Nick hint that they used to be wild like that.

After Noah leaves to see Sharon, Nick sets up a profile for Phyllis on an online dating site. Michael and Lauren get cozy nearby. Ravi is swaying to the music as Ashley walks in. She shocks him by joining in the fun.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers state that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will reach out to Sharon. At home, Sharon is sitting alone when she hears the doorbell. Nikki notes that she wanted to check on Sharon. They agree that it’s been tough to accept Dylan’s departure.

Sharon lashes out at Nikki briefly, but she manages to calm down. They share some wine as they let their tears fall. Sharon almost believes Dylan’s death would’ve been easier for her to deal with. Now she’ll never know where Dylan is or what kind of trouble he’s in.

When Paul shows up, Sharon is somewhat cold toward him for giving Dylan this assignment. Paul points out that Dylan wouldn’t take no for an answer. Sharon sighs that she’s the one who drove Dylan to it anyway. Paul suggests that Sharon should tell everyone that she’s the reason Dylan left. It’s a good cover story to protect him.

Nikki wonders if there’s another way, but Sharon is OK with it as long as Dylan stays safe. Later, Noah drops by and Sharon fulfills Paul’s wishes. She tells her son that Dylan left her. Sharon cries that her marriage is over. Y&R rumors hint that Sharon’s life will take her in some unexpected directions soon. Stick with the CBS soap to see what lies ahead for Sharon and her family.
