The Young and the Restless RUMOR: Cane and Hilary Connect – Stunning Development This Summer?

Cane (Daniel Goddard) is Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) target on ‘The Young and the Restless’. This is a soap opera, so all protestors be ware. Yes, Hilary’s charms will win Cane over later this summer in Genoa City, as she attempts to stick it to Lily (Christel Khalil).

This plot path has already begun to play out, as Cane’s world continues to fall apart. ‘Lane’ is currently on life support, though Lily has no idea that the idyllic family life she’s leading is a sham.

A quick recap is in order for fans, both devoted and those who consider themselves to be occasional daytime connoisseurs.

Cane connected with Juliet (Laur Allen) on a business trip in Japan. He didn’t intend for it to happen and has never filled Lily in, which establishes a double-shock in the near future.

Meanwhile, back at Brash and Sassy, Cane intentionally sabotaged the DARE commercial shoot to make Billy (Jason Thompson) look like a bad guy. Vickie (Amelia Heinle) subjectively chose to make Juliet pay the price for what happened and rudely fired her.

Hilary recently overheard Cane and Juliet talking about their night in Tokyo. She called out Juliet and is now encouraging her to sue Brash and Sassy. The coming legal battle will serve to publicly eject Cane’s unseemly personal and business information.

After his marriage and job are trashed, Cane’s descent will continue. Sake won’t be his drink of choice in Wisconsin. No, Hilary will follow up on her failed attempt to drug him (which took place a few years ago) and maneuver Cane into a compromising position using other means. Conveniently, Lily will discover what happens.

Emoji hand waving bye-bye posted. ‘Lane’s’ over. Then Hilary will try and talk her way back into Jordan’s (Darnell Kirkwood) good graces, but he’ll be too smart to fall for her game a second time.

As for Cane, he’ll have to settle for occasional contact with the sudden teenager twins, attempt to make recompense with his soul mate and send his embellished curriculum vitae (a haughty way to referenced one’s old-fashioned resume) to job sites everywhere.

Oh Cane, you did yourself in! Maybe Sharon (Sharon Case) will let you make coffee at Crimson Lights and sleep in the back room at night.
