Weekly Soap Ratings February 8-12: 'Y&R' And 'Bold' Up, 'General Hospital' Drops, 'DOOL' In TroubleThe soap weekly ratings for February 8 through February 12 show that “General Hospital” gained back some of the viewers it lost in the previous week. “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” are holding steady. But “Days of Our Lives” continues to lose viewers according to Soap Opera Network.

Days of Our Lives
After gaining 30,000 viewers for the week of February 1 through February 5, “DOOL” lost 56,000 viewers for the week of February 8 through February 12. Overall 2,511,000 people tuned in to watch “DAYS” however women 18-49 seem to have stopped watching the daytime drama in droves. In this demographic “Days of Our Lives” lost 60,000 viewers. The previous week 535,000 women between 18 and 49 tuned in. For the week ending February 12 only 475,000 women in this age group watched “DAYS.”

General Hospital
The ratings report shows that “GH” had an overall viewership of 3,024,000 which is up 39,000 from the same time last week. However, the soap opera lost 11,000 viewers in the women 18 to 49 category while “Days of Our Lives” gained 30,000 in the same demographic. “GH” ended the week with 531,000 women 18-49 watching the show.

The Bold and the Beautiful
The CBS daytime drama lost 331,000 viewers between February 1 and February 5 with only 3,643,00 viewers watching. According to Soap Opera Network the CBS soap opera gained back 95,000 of those viewers between February 8 and February 12.“The Bold and the Beautiful” gained back 13,000 viewers in the women 18 to 49 demographic after losing 59,000 the week before. “B&B” ended the week with 3,738,00 viewers.

The Young and the Restless
The week ending February 12 saw “Y&R” gain back 142,000 of the 228,000 viewers lost for the week ending February 5. The ratings report shows that the 18 to 49 female demographic returned to watch the #1 soap opera on television. “The Young and the Restless” lost 27,000 viewers in this age range between February 1 and February 5 – and 28,000 women in this demographic tuned in for the week ending February 12. “Y&R” ended the week with 5,009,000 viewers according to Soap Opera Network.

“The Young and the Restless” is regaining viewers as is “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Will “Days of Our Lives” be able to woo viewers back? TPTB announced that “DAYS” co-head writer Josh Griffith had been replaced with Ryan Quan help the soap opera to bounce back?
