Soap Opera Ratings Week of June 6-10: Huge Ratings Losses For ‘GH’ – ‘Y&R’ And ‘B&B’ Lose Viewers – ‘DOOL’ Picks Up SteamThe soap opera weekly ratings for June 6 through June 10 show that ‘General Hospital’ took a huge hit in the ratings from the previous week with both total viewers and women 18-49.

‘The Young and the Restless’ lost both viewers across the board while ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ lost total viewers as well as women in the 18-49 demographic.

Good news for ‘Days of Our Lives’ fans though. According to Soap Opera Network the lone NBC gained total viewers. However, the daytime drama showed women 18-49 tuned out for the week of June 6 through June 10.

Days of Our Lives

After hitting some all-time lows ‘DOOL’ had 2,127,000 total viewers, which shows a gain of 34,000 over from May 30 through June 6 when the daytime drama added back 12,000 total viewers. Women 18-49 however showed a loss of 9,000 with 366,000 watching. The loss of 9,000 viewers in this demographic comes after a gain of 30,000 the previous week.

General Hospital

‘General Hospital’ had a significant decrease in viewership across the board for the week of June 6p-1. Total viewers equaled 2,522,000, which represents a loss of 276,000 viewers. This puts the ABC daytime drama in jeopardy of dropping from the number 3 spot to the number 4 spot if ‘DOOL’ continues to gain total viewers. ‘GH’ had 412,000 women viewers 18-49 which represents a loss of 30,000 in this all-important demographic.

The Bold and the Beautiful

It wasn’t a good week all around for ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ with losses in both total viewers and in the women 18-49 category. There were 3,667,000 total viewers for June 6-10 and that’s a loss of 76,000 viewers from the previous week May 30 through June 6. Additional viewers were lost in the women 18-49 demographic with 524,000 tuning in. That’s a loss of 17,000 viewers in this category.

The Young and the Restless

Soap Opera Network reports ‘The Young and the Restless’ fans once again tuned out the number one soap opera. With 4,692,000 total viewers, ‘Y&R’ lost 70,000 viewers between June 6 and June 10. Women viewers 18-49 weren’t happy with the daytime drama with 706,000 tuning in, but these numbers represent a loss of 13,000 viewers in this demographic.

      Everyone knows why Y&R are losing viewers, they have stories that have been on for over a year now. They bring on all these new actresses/actors when they want to get rid of the excellent ones they all ready have n refuse to get rid of the dead weight. The fans are fed up with Y&R. Bring this soap into 2016. Get RID of Billy NO CHEMISTRY with anyone, Neil he has been on since 1910 he is DULL, Hilary Devion Travis Luca Lily Cane Summer for sure worst actresses in soap history, the computer nerd, dumb story to began with. Bring Patty back on excellent actresses, don’t believe she killed Dr Anderson, good story would be if that nurse that stoled Christian would be the killer or better yet Sage. Patty n Ina Ward have chemistry together as well as the new dr in the prison has chemistry with Ina, because she n Victor sure doesn’t have any chemistry together. Bring Jessica Collins back on for Dylan. There are other African American actress n actors to fill the Winter’s parts, they just don’t have it anymore. Bring Jill back on. Have some stories dealing with the companies Neman, Jabot n Chancellor, instead of all the stories about baby stealing n bed hopping we have seen nothing but this for the last several years.

      look at these bull crap storylines and pairings
      JASON and SAM OVERRATED BORING ARSE NOSTALIGIA…..
      HAYDEN and FINN awkward and doesn’t make sense
      LIZ talking to FRANCO and unholy INCEST crap agenda just to keep a SINGLe PARENT LIZ away from jason…

      then this whole ISH with NICK… put him back with HAYDEN
      the freaking NURSES BALL was utterly a waste…
      the only good performances was Ephiany’s group and Magic Milo and KIKI and DILLOn..
      the organziation to bring everyone upon each other in the crowd of Nurses ball made no sense
      you have SAM who didn’t even stop to greet KIKI you know the cousin and the daughter of the father who saved danny from cancer and mind you sam hasn’t given kiki any atteniton to alaways be there for kiki since july 201555555555555………………………….
      her nose is so far up Jason’s arse.. the character just looks like a cling machine from twlight or some annoying vampire tv show.. where they have no fangs they just wear black clothing and once again communicate about every else’s lives.. because there is no individuality or a sense of independence in the jasam cling machine pimped out for raitings… relationship

      that is only reason gh has ratings at all take that relationship away GH is gone forever it’s really disrespectful to see a hand of actress and actors from before the era of JASAM adventures occurred are getting the pie in the face roles.. while KeMo as Sam get’s this lollipop role…. =__=….

      heck LW and MW can act circles around KM.. i wish they could do more than just be used as gag punching bags vs KeMo’s role as Sam.. that character is just so aggrivating.. i can’t wait to see the role of sam age off and die.. and then a new era of GH will change supposedly if the show doesn’t get cancelled because of this abuse of having to showcase the jasam show.. you really can’t even call general hospital… general hospital anymore the looks like 2009-2012 that was the era of the jasam tv show.. and this show ever since he has been back with sam.. that’s all we see.. and everything else.. around their centered relationship recieves bad writing
      Jordan having problems with andre.. makes no sense.. when she cna’t even come out to tell Andre she love him back.. but only he can.. which implies jordan doesn’t really feel that way..
      then you have new characters with storylines that are left undone…for over 9-11 months now….
      Bree Williamson as CLAUDETTE better be a CANADIAN CASSIDINE taht has something to do with tormenting NICK and everyone carrying out HELENA’s orders

      that is the only reason i am still watching GH
      if the ROLE of CLAUDETTE is just to play a discern.. ex lover and nothing more.. then that will be my last GH STORYLINE to follow

      Everything else is just CANCER and TOXIC ACID of repetiion and whitewashing STORYLINES to fit the JASAM agenda.. that

      this many people don’t care about…. the vibe of these numbers don’t lie..
