‘Days Of Our Lives’ Comings And Goings: Several Familiar Faces Returning To DOOL – Paul Telfer, James Read, Kassie DePaiva, and MORE!

The NBC soap opera ‘Days of Our Lives’ is currently on its short hiatus to allow the airing of the 2016 Olympics. When the show returns in approximately two weeks time it promises to return with a bang. Not only are hot storylines promised but also some fan favorite returns are expected. The returns that happen next month are not the only ones; the show executives promise returns all year long.

No specific dates were given for their returns, but these are some you just can’t afford to miss. First off trouble will surround Theresa Donovan [Jen Lilley] as Paul Telfer makes a turn as Xander Cook. Things started out beautifully between the two but ended badly when Theresa seduced Xander to make it look like he raped her. The events got Victor [John Aniston] turning his back on his own nephew which angered Xander but now he is returning, could he have been the one who arranged Tate’s kidnapping?

Also set to return even though still in prison is Clyde Weston [James Read]. Although his return was speculated months ago, he officially confirmed it just a few weeks ago. The ‘Days of Our Lives’ promo for what happens after the Olympics shows Weston back and in prison with his cell mates. But we all know this won’t be for long as Clyde Weston is a villain and his bound to cause trouble for those in Salem. Apparently Clyde will get out of prison and go to see Kate [Lauren Koslow}, what more trouble could he cause for her?

Jaime Lynn Bauer also brings back Laura Horton to the Salem canvas. Jennifer [Melissa Reeves] will need her mother in this trying time as she tries to cope with the absence of her daughter and she takes Chad [Billy Flynn] to court. Will Laura be able to help her daughter make a decision as to the way forward, will she be able to console her in this difficult time?

Kassie DePaiva surely delivered her best performance during her previous reign as Eve Donovan. With Brady [Eric Martsolf] and Theresa’s upcoming wedding, Eve returns to Salem to be in attendance. The promo video shows Eve being manhandled by gunmen who hold those in attendance at the wedding hostage. Will Eve be staying around for an extended period or is she just visiting for the wedding? Will everything be alright with her?

George DeHoyo comes back as Orpheus who has not been seen for approximately two decades. Spoilers tease that Clyde will break out of prison but he’s not the only one, Orpheus does too. He wants revenge and we’ll get to understand exactly why he wants revenge so badly. Clyde, Orpheus and Xander all work together and escape prison to wreak havoc on the lives of some of Salem’s finest.

The returns of these people promises to be intense and viewers will not want to miss a moment!
