‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers: Sage’s Mental Health Issues Causing Pregnancy Problems – Nick Searches For Cause

“Young and the Restless” spoilers are in; Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will have his own mystery to try to uncover. It looks like his wife, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) will suffer yet another health crisis, and he will be forced to uncover what kind of secrets could be the culprit. Will he discover that his sweet wife has been in cahoots with Gabriel, ahem Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) for over a year? And, that’s not all, will he discover that she is the reason his evil half-brother survived the car accident?

Sage has had her share of emotional times in her pregnancy. Her OB/GYN ruled the root of the problem to be likely stemming from a psychological issue. She urged him to get her in therapy, so she could talk her fear out with a trained professional. She told him that she wanted her on bed rest- only to force her to rest and not stress about everything around her. Little does he know; her biggest stressor is Gabriel- and the looming destruction that will unleash when Genoa City learns that Adam Newman is alive and walking among them?

The promo for this week showed Nick searching for answers about his wife. It seems more likely he is trying to get her the help she needs to let go of the notion that Victor (Eric Braeden) is going to take their child from them. Nick discovers that she may be scared of that happening because his father is suing Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) for shared custody. Sage definitely gets a creepy reading off Victor, and she feels very uneasy around him.

Is it possible that Nick is close to piecing together Sage and Gabriel’s real connection? Fans shouldn’t count on it. Nick Newman has never been particularly bright when it came to figuring out what his wife’s were up to behind his back. He was the last to know about Sharon’s (Sharon Case) paternity swap mix up. It is likely about her pregnancy and mental health. It will be very interesting to see where they plan to go with the storyline. It looks like fans should brace themselves and get ready for a baby snatching storyline.
