‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday December 22: Adam and Sharon Have A Moment – Jack and Billy Make Peace – Nikki Calls Victor Scrooge

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, December 22, tease that several Genoa City residents will try to stay joyful during this holiday season. Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is making a Christmas list for Sully with Dylan (Steve Burton) when Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) stops by with gifts. She hands over little brother and big sister shirts.

Faith wants to wear her shirt to the Christmas bash, but Nikki isn’t sure there’s going to be one. Faith thinks Sage (Kelly Sullivan) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) will be sad if they don’t have a party. Nikki says she’ll talk to Victor (Eric Braeden) and see if they can plan something very special.

Billy’s (Burgess Jenkins) actions made the GC Buzz and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) isn’t pleased when Abby (Melissa Ordway) fills her in. Nevertheless, Abby feels sorry for Billy and wonders if Victoria can find it in her heart to let him spend Christmas with his children. Victoria hints that Billy is unpredictable and Abby claims it’s Adam’s (Justin Hartley) fault. Victoria suggests that Adam shouldn’t be blamed for Billy’s choices.

Noah (Robert Adamson) arrives and tells them about his new position at Newman. Victoria and Abby say they’re going Christmas shopping, but Victor won’t allow it. It seems Victor wants all hands on deck until Newman Enterprises is back on top.

Abby points out that Jabot is closing for the holidays and Victoria pipes up that they don’t want to be Jabot. Abby insists that they don’t have to bring Jabot to its knees. Victor reminds Abby that “Billy Boy” is responsible for all of this. He still deserves to pay for what he did to the company. Abby says she’s a Newman, too. Victor implies that she better act like it. If Abby wants to work for Jabot, Victor can certainly find someone else to take her place.

At Crimson Lights, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam walk in with Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois). They see Sharon (Sharon Case) and say they’re going to see Santa Claus. In a moment alone, Sharon tells Adam she had a funny feeling about him when he first came to town as Gabriel. Adam replies that he would have told Sharon who he was if he could have. Sharon mentions how close they used to be.

Talk turns to Sully and Adam admires him. He notes that Sharon is lucky to have Sully in her life. Sharon seems touched that Adam is emotional about kids and he says he’s glad things worked out for her. Sharon feels the same way about Adam’s situation. Adam takes a phone call from Noah, who’s wondering where he is. Victor wants everyone at Newman Enterprises to work. Adam says to tell “The Grinch” he’ll be there soon.

Chelsea returns to the table and Adam apologizes for having to rush off to Newman. Once he’s gone, Sharon questions how Chelsea feels about Adam working for Victor. Chelsea insists she has to have faith in her husband. When Santa shows up, Faith and Connor sit on his lap. Chelsea tells Dylan she sees the peace in his eyes now that he has the family he’s always wanted. Dylan says sometimes it seems too good to be true.

Chelsea leaves and Sharon asks Dylan what they were talking about. Dylan admits that seeing Chelsea always reminds him of the past. Sharon says Sully has given them both a second chance. Meanwhile, Victoria and Abby gripe about having to work all night. Abby complains that they’ll probably have to work on Christmas Eve as well. Victor compliments Noah on the good job he’s doing.

Nikki arrives and says she knows what’s going to happen to “Scrooge.” The lights flicker and Nikki thinks it’s a warning. Victor gives Nikki updates on the construction crew that’s working on the top floor. They’re responsible for the flickering lights. Nikki thinks the crew should be at home with their families and so should Victor.

Nikki asks if Victor learned nothing from almost dying in the fire. Victor remains determined to rebuild his business and work hard. Nikki gets fed up. She says it’s Christmas and enough is enough. Nikki stomps off and Victor looks angry. Adam shows up and wonders where everyone is. Victor says they went home and so should Adam.

Adam doesn’t want to leave Victor to rebuild Newman by himself. Victor says he prefers it that way. Adam reminds Victor that he always said this was a family affair and it’s not good for him to do things alone. When Chelsea and Connor come in, Victor urges Adam to go home and be with his family.

Later, Adam tells Chelsea that he understands why rebuilding the company is so important to Victor. Adam knows that Victor said to go home, but he still feels like he needs to be there for his father. Back in his office, Victor looks at baby pictures of his children.

Elsewhere, Victoria and Abby are ecstatic that they got to go Christmas shopping after all. Nikki says they shouldn’t let Victor control their lives. They toast to shopping and Nikki declares that she won’t let Victor ruin Christmas.

Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers indicate that Phyllis’ (Gina Tognoni) sneakiness will eventually help ease the tension between Billy and Jack (Peter Bergman). After they realize they’ve been duped, Billy storms out in the freezing cold. Phyllis gets upset with Jack and pushes him to forgive Billy. Jack is still angry about having to let so many people go at Christmastime. He wants Billy to take responsibility for his actions, but he decides to go get him.

Once Jack brings Billy back inside, Billy opens up about the pain that’s resurfaced since he learned the news about Adam. Jack wonders if Billy is thinking of leaving this life to join Delia (Sophie Pollono). Billy says he loved Delia so much, but he’s not going to do anything stupid. He has to think of his other children. Jack knows that, but he’s worried about the tension with Victoria. It’s going to take more than words; Billy needs to prove he’s getting his life together with his actions.

Billy agrees to try with everything he has. Y&R rumors hint that Billy and Victoria could find their way back to each other eventually. Stick with the CBS soap to find out what it will take to bring this couple together once again.
