'General Hospital' Interview: Robert Palmer Watkins Discusses His Passion For Singing And Portraying Dillon Quartermaine General Hospital” Robert Palmer Watkins [Dillon Quartermaine] sat down with Soap Opera Digest for a short interview. He revealed what he likes to do on his days off, who he wants to work with on the ABC soap opera, what his biggest script mistake has been, and the last concert he attended.

Soap Opera Digest asked Palmer what he likes to do on his days off, and his answer was pretty typical of a young man his age. He noted, “I like to hang out with friends or maybe go to the beach. We love to go surfing when the weather permits.”

Palmer explained he would love to share scenes with William DeVry. “It’d be cool to work with William DeVry [Julian] because we have the same manager. Or Nicolas Brechtel [Spencer]. He’s like a little adult in a little body. He is hilarious on the set.”

Robert said he would like to get back to music as soon as his hectic schedule allows. “I love singing. That’s actually what I started out studying in college- musical theater. So getting back into music is definitely on my to-do list,” Robert explained.

Soap Opera Digest asked him what his biggest dialogue mistake was so far. He laughed and said, “When Dillon was having breakfast with Tracy and Paul, and he’s grossed out by them having sex; I think I got in my head a bit, and I kept messing up. I felt really bad, but everyone assured me by saying, it’s ok. You’re allowed a freebie every couple month.”
