Y&R Spoilers: Claire Owes Holden For Saving Her From Matt, Kyle Pushed Aside Again ?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) could redeem himself in Claire Newman’s (Hayley Erin) eyes. After he told her about his thievery in LA with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), she’s been turned off by him.

Now that Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall” (Roger Howarth) is in GC, he is a menace and he knows Holden as well as Audra.

In the December 12 episode, fans learned that there is more to the theft story that Holden fed Claire to shut her up. In fact, he hit their mark, Richard (Mike Falkow), when he demanded his stolen money back.

Holden is not a cold-blooded killer, but still … he accepted some of the money Audra stole from Richard so that makes him complicit.

After Holden hit Richard he slammed his head on the bar and Audra was there as well. Holden was defending Audra but manslaughter is not a laughing matter.

Holden is now a character in need of redemption and we predict it could come at the expense of Matt Clark. At the same time, Claire is reconnecting with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) even as Holden holds a torch for her.

Would fickle Claire feel differently about Holden if he becomes a hero for going against Matt? Definitely maybe!

Matt could target Claire because she’s Noah Newman’s (Lucas Adams) cousin and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) granddaughter, and there is no love lost between him and the Newmans.

It would be ironic if Holden repeats history and fights off Matt to save Claire. Holden worked for Matt at The Shadow Room and we could learn that he is aware of the death that happened at his bar.

Are we about to see a situation in which Holden gets a leg up on Kyle in Claire’s eyes? Claire has not fully embraced Kyle since her return from LA so there is some wiggle room in her heart, maybe enough to forgive Holden for his past sins.
