Y&R Spoilers: Will Jack Fall In Love With A Redeemed Patty?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that there’s a good chance that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will fall in love with a redeemed Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk). As Patty has returned a very different person, will she finally win over Jack’s heart?

The Young and the Restless spoilers remind fans that Patty has been obsessed with Jack for decades now, hurting his romances and family (among others) along the way to gain his love. She’s been in and out of institutions over the years and has severe mental health issues.

Still, let’s fast forward to the present day. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) kidnapped Victor and placed him on a yacht in the middle of a lake/sea/ocean, so he has no way to escape.

When he woke the first morning of his hostage situation, he was beyond shocked to realize that he was on a boat and that Patty was there with him.

He questioned how he got there, and Patty swore that she’s changed and ready to make amends.

With that said, Patty is presenting herself and acting far differently than she has in the past. Has Patty changed, and what does this mean for her relationship with Jack?

Jack Abbott Has Forgiven Before

It wasn’t too long ago that Diane Abbott (Susan Walters) returned to GC, claiming she, too, had changed. While Diane and Patty are a tad different, in some ways, their stories and love for Jack are very similar.

Diane was a schemer who crossed many lines over the years and ruined many of Jack’s relationships. While she was sane, unlike Patty, Jack was wary of trusting Diane, much like he is of Patty.

Jack was kind of in a budding reunion with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) when Diane returned. Jack’s willingness to give Diane a second chance was what broke his romance – and friendship – with Phyllis.

Could lightning strike twice? Could Diane and Jack drift apart with Patty back in town … could Jack give a redeemed Patty a second chance?
