‘Y&R’ Spoilers Weekly Update: Matt Trapped, Unexpected Opportunity, Noah Explodes

The Young and the Restless spoilers are in for the week of February 23, 2026. Fans can expect Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to set a trap for Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Meanwhile, there is an unexpected opportunity for Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman). Keep reading to find out what is coming up in the CBS soap opera.

Nick Newman’s Failed Cover

Let’s kick off this post with Nick. Fans already saw that when Nick ran out of pain pills, he went to fentanyl. The man just happened to find some pills in his jacket pocket from the search for Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams). 

Those pills were from Matt and are fentanyl. Not only that, there is a chance that those pills were tainted considering Matt’s history.

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has already wondered what’s going on with Nick. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) ended up warning her brother about addiction.

However, Nick will continue playing it cool. While he will try to hide what he’s doing, people are already noticing something is very wrong with Nick.

Punishing Matt Clark

Nick won’t just have family matters on his mind. The man will find out from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that Matt was released from prison. The man already bolted and nobody knows where he is. This will be just more reason for Nick to turn to fentanyl.

Later in the week, Victoria helps Nick with setting a trap. Then, Nick gets Sharon’s help in turning the tables on the villain.

Noah Newman Explodes

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of February 23 reveal that Noah runs into Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

While the two do take a walk down memory lane, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) ruins it. Once Noah realizes that Audra is about to run a company that was stolen, things take a turn.

Speaking of Audra, she manages to stop Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) from making the wrong decision. As for Lauren, she gets a new opportunity.

What Else to Expect

Victoria will also share a close moment with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). I really like these two together.

Meanwhile, Daniel Romalotti, Jr. (Michael Grazaidei) is totally done with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Plus, Nate and Devon Winters (Bryton James) end up getting a lead on Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the children. Devon tells Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) that they need to follow this lead.

While she understands, it’s also hinted that it will leave Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Ethan Ray Clark) vulnerable.
