Cane Ashby Arrested

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, May 6, indicate that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will be arrested. This is sure to not only take Cane by surprise but throw Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) for a loop.

Right now, as Cane is Malcolm Winters’ (Shemar Moore) bone marrow donor, this is sure to place a wrench in his life-saving surgery. Will Cane get out on bail?

He might be considered a flight risk, considering his past. Regardless, Malcolm’s surgery could be cancelled because of Cane’s arrest, but it’ll most definitely be delayed, which is a cause for concern.

Claire Newman’s Bold Move

Meanwhile, The Young and the Restless spoilers for May 6 note that Claire will make a bold move for Holden’s sake.

If Holden finds out about Cane’s arrest, he’ll be upset.

While he isn’t close to Malcolm, he knows that the man is his biological father, and he’ll worry about Cane’s arrest affecting his dad’s procedure.

Will he tell Claire about this?

Will she approach her grandfather, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and beg him to stop this madness?

Revenge is one thing, but Malcolm’s life may lie in the balance of this situation.

Will The Moustache listen to reasoning? Malcolm is a family friend and Neil Winters’ (Kristoff St. John) brother, after all!

Damage Control Mode

Lastly, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be in damage control mode.

Phyllis was arrested during the Tuesday, May 5 show, so she and Michael will scramble to find a way to prove the evidence provided is AI-generated.

Will this be far more difficult than it seems? Only time will tell.
