The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of May 4-8 hint at some major moments ahead in Genoa City, plus a flurry of casting news! Find out who’s coming and who’s going on the CBS soap over the next five days below.
Matt Clark’s Very Much Alive
The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of May 4-8 reveal that Matt Clark, played by Roger Howarth, is very much alive. He was seen unconscious in the desert during the close of the Friday, May 1 episode, and his eyes popped wide open.
Matt appeared in the Y&R preview for the week of May 4, and fans can expect him to make his way back to GC during the Thursday, May 7 show, as he shares scenes with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Speaking of Cane, he’ll get arrested this week and be led out of the GCAC by recurring character Christine Romalotti, played by Lauralee Bell. In addition, fans will see Gavin K. Lee play the police officer assisting the district attorney with Cane’s arrest.
Christine will also be seen during the Tuesday, May 5 show as she corners Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Goodbye For Now?
It seems that Vivica A. Fox, who recently reprised her role from the 1990s as Dr. Stephanie Simmons, has exited the canvas. During the Wednesday, April 29 show.
After celebrating Cane’s bone marrow match, along with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), she stated she was heading back to New York to be with Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) and help him with his pre-surgery prep.
With that said, it doesn’t seem like it’ll be too long before Stephanie pops back into Genoa City, so fans should expect to see her in the near future, even if just to visit her son again, Holden.
